Technology Solutions Advisor, Technology Solutions Delivery (Finance Management) – Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY. Assist clients with designing and implementing solutions to improve their finance organization's efficiency and effectiveness in the areas of strategy, people, processes and technology. Support clients through shifting their organizational emphasis from transaction-level control, processing and reporting, to a decision support and analytics model, to help business growth and enhance profitability. Provide technology solutions addressing areas of Financial Management, including finance strategy; enterprise data management; reference data management; financial accounting and reporting; reinsurance accounting and reporting; budgeting, planning and forecasting; performance management and measurement (KPIs, business driver-based metrics); ERP systems; Data Warehousing; Reporting systems; and enterprise technology expense reduction.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday– Friday,40hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Management or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in defining business and technical requirements. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Management or related field and 4 years of work experience in defining business and technical requirements.
Must have 3 years of experience in the financial services industry and/or providing financial advisory services.
Must have 3 years of experience in BCM and Insurance finance, finance process analysis, performance measurement, bank regulatory reporting, Dodd-Frank requirements, and FSA global regulatory requirements.
Must have 4 years of experience in financial system tools, technologies, and architectures, including at least one of the following: BASEL, Oracle Financials, Hyperion, PeopleSoft Financials, SAP, Cognos, SunGard, Clarity, Cartesis, Business Objects, Intellimatch, Smart Stream, and/or OFSAA.
Must have 4 years of experience in at least one of the following: designing business and technology architecture, system implementation, data mapping and conversion, proof of concept, quality assurance and testing, and/or business and IT process reengineering.
Must have 3 years of experience in program/project management and implementation planning (PMO).
Must have 3 years of experience in supervising a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life-cycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion and testing.
Must have 4 years of project experience, in any 3 of the following:
Finance transformation and accelerated close
Management reporting enhancement
Business intelligence/decision support
Traded products/front/back office package implementation
Data warehousing/enterprise data design and management
Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
Reconciliation redesign or improvement
Requires travel up to 70%, of which 20% may be international, in order to serve client needs.
