The Decision Modeling & Economics Team (DME) sits within EY’s Strategy and Transactions (SaT) practice and is a provider of business analytics solutions to help support the full spectrum of Strategy and Transactions offerings. We work across sectors and our solutions focus on supporting strategic, operational, and financial decision making using technology and analytics. Our team consists of analytics, technology, and financial modeling professionals, all of whom have a strong interest in business & finance. Our work is often innovative and rapid (delivering solutions in weeks to a few months).
We are seeking data modeling professionals with experience of designing or implementing technology solutions to solve business problems.
Develop business intelligence solutions for clients tostructure, quantify and implement complex financial decisions such asmergers, acquisitions, divestitures, strategic options, investmentappraisal, contract evaluation and program assessment
Managing and motivating teams of professionals withdiverse skills and backgrounds and fostering a team-oriented environment
Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities andprofessional knowledge
Maintaining long-term client relationships and networksand cultivating business development opportunities
Using current analytics technology and tools to enhancethe effectiveness of services provided and act as a leader in adopting newtools and techniques
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Businessanalytics or equivalent; Masters preferred
5+ years of software/technology client-facing experience
Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in SQL
2+ years of corporate finance experience
Adept at picking up new technologies
Experience with data modeling, design patterns,building highly scalable and secured solutions
Experience with Big Data migrations or ITtransformations, with architecting or operating solutions build on MSAzure
Experience in data warehouse or databasearchitecture and ideally within a startup or startup like workingenvironment
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ahigh degree of comfort in speaking with senior executives at largecompanies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills pairedwith the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
Distinct customer focus and quality mindset; able tosee from and sell to multiple viewpoints
Ability to manage own learning and contribute to domainknowledge building
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communicationskills
Keen interest in being at the intersection of business,technology, and analytics.
This position also requires up to 50-75% travel.
