Cybersecurity – FSO – Manager – Location OPEN

The role will focus on Wealth and Asset Management in Cyber FoP leadership with client engagement delivery and pursuits.

The opportunity

As a Manager in Cybersecurity Operations, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our company's data and computer systems. You will be at the forefront of monitoring, identifying, and mitigating security threats, ensuring effective incident response, and driving continuous improvements in our operational processes and protocols. Your expertise will be vital in evaluating, deploying, and enhancing cyber defense measures to maintain the highest level of security against digital threats.

Your key responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will focus on delivering and managing key processes and projects with an emphasis on quality and robust risk management. You will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing staff and guiding complex technical initiatives

  • Mentoring team members and resolving issues that impact the department

  • Meeting objectives and performance metrics

  • Engaging in sales processes, identifying growth opportunities, and leading RFP responses

  • Traveling as needed to meet client requirements and actively participating in client sessions

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree).

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience.

  • Operating in a sector where cybersecurity is a priority, the candidate should possess the following skills and experiences:

  • Direct experience in leadership positions in cyber organizations, leading transformational efforts, compliance, incident response, etc.

  • Understanding cyber tech stack and cyber architecture including the role of innovative technologies such as AI-based technology enabling cyber processes /functions (e.g. in the SOC function), cloud infrastructure, etc.

  • Thorough understanding of cyber organizations and functions

  • Experience building out and leading cybersecurity offshore teams (preferably in India)

  • Thorough understanding of cyber regulations, including privacy-related regulations such as GDPR and cyber frameworks such as NIST CSF, FAIR, ISO 27001, etc.

  • Hands on experience performing risk and maturity assessments of cyber organizations, their functions and architecture

  • Certifications: CISSP , CISM

  • Expertise in cybersecurity and privacy concepts, principles, and solutions

  • Proficiency in incident response and project management

  • Knowledge of security tools and technologies

  • Relationship management and client services skills

  • Negotiation, critical thinking, and learning agility

  • Adaptability to manage change

  • Professional certification specific to the role, as defined by service line and company policies

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills

  • Ability to contribute to the leadership of project workstreams

  • Experience in defining objectives and executing activities to meet targets

  • Ability to provide performance feedback and serve in mentorship and leadership capacities

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $143,500 to $263,200. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $172,200 to $299,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
