Operational Transaction Services (OTS) is a dedicated team with over 50 Management Consultants within EY’s Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) division that help clients achieve their strategic objectives in acquisitions and divestments.
We cover a wide range of operational aspects in a transaction, including synergy assessments, separation readiness and support, operational due diligence and supporting the integration process. With an unrivalled track record in the industry, you will have the opportunity to be a part of Oceania's most interesting transactions.

Your key responsibilities
Developing and presenting key deliverables to clients
Identifying key client risks, issues and mitigating these ahead of time
Analysing and evaluating a company’s financials
Managing a small team and leading by the EY values
Acting as the main point of contact to our client
Reporting directly to Senior Managers, Directors and Partners
Supporting in business development activities
Collaborating widely with the broader Transaction Advisory Services Division and EY
Skills and attributes for success
We seek people with the following experience:
Experienced (2 – 5 years) record in professional services / management consulting or related corporate experience
Transaction experience, ideally in one or more relevant areas such as pre-deal transaction support, commercial and operational due diligence, synergy identification and assessment, post-merger integration or carve-out support and benefits realisation
Organisational transformation experience
To qualify for the role you must have
Problem-solving skills, curiosity and creative thinking
Ability to research companies and industries, synthesising and analysing a large set of qualitative and quantitative data
Ability to determine risks and opportunity areas
Developed written and verbal communication skills with experience in delivering high-quality reports and presentations
Adept at building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and senior clients
Driven, but with high EQ and low ego
Team leadership skills, particularly teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, coupled with the ability develop juniors
Proficient at Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and other research tools
Flexible with occasional travel requirements of client projects
