Account Manager Assistant Director
Our Markets function brings together business, sector and account knowledge along with EY competencies and solutions to meet unique client needs. The Business Development Organization shares and drives an integrated growth strategy across the largest accounts, the industry sectors, solutions and services, demonstrating and achieving a market leadership through a client centric culture.
The Account Manager plays a critical account-focused role within the Business Development organization. They work cross-functionally to drive and activate effective account management, bring the full power of EY to our largest accounts and ultimately enable an exceptional client experience that positions EY to win in the market. The Account Manager works closely with account leadership to drive and support account strategy execution, client relationship management, high performance teaming and strategic sales and go-to-market activity. They may or may not work with a Sales Executive.
Your key responsibilities
The Account Manager typically supports a portfolio of 2-4 accounts to drive growth and account management excellence. You will be expected to autonomously lead and execute the key activities of EY’s Account Management Framework (AMF), working closely with the global account leadership team. You will operate as the hub of the global account team, serving as a central leader to facilitate team connectivity and strategic execution. You will be expected to maintain a strong understanding of the client business agenda and related EY capabilities. You will work with the global account team to execute a client-centered approach that results in trusted client relationships and greater EY opportunity. The role balances internal team leadership activity, with some opportunity for client-facing relationship development.

To qualify for the role, you must have
Approximately 7-10 years of account management or similar relevant experience, ideally gained within a global multinational company
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Effective influencing and relationship building skills with strong executive presence
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail and sound organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Bachelor’s degree (emphasis in Marketing or Business preferred) or equivalent experience
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Strong business/commercial acumen and an understanding of major industry sector trends
Leadership, facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills
Strategic thinking and analytical skills

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $98,100 to $178,100. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $117,700 to $202,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
