Job summary

As a sourcing recruiter, you are a true entrepreneur in both establishing EY’s brand in the market and pipelining talent in alignment with the business. Your role is vital in the activation of our firm strategy, enhancement of our brand, strengthening of candidate and stakeholder relationships, and commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workforce for the future. You will deploy creative, targeted ideas and solutions in hiring top talent and providing an exceptional experience for each candidate with whom you interact. Additionally, you are a trusted Americas Talent business advisor and are the subject matter expert of the profiles, markets, service lines, and specialty practices to which you are aligned. You are knowledgeable of hiring requirements, business needs and effective pipeline management.

Within talent attraction , you will develop and maintain expert knowledge of the vendor platforms & functionality to ensure we are maximizing digital tools to engage with curated, diverse talent pools. You will represent EY’s brand in the digital marketplace, thus it will be critical for you to ensure that the brand is portrayed appropriately and competitively, while providing a consistent and exceptional experience for all candidates. You will implement strategies and programming to identify, attract, and educate qualified, top candidates, with an embedded focus on diversity and inclusion, business needs, and all profiles being sought. You will monitor trends and competitive intelligence, striving to be the employer of choice with our targeted audiences, and provide robust feedback and insight to ensure the top talent is selected to interview for our available opportunities.

Within talent management , you will develop and maintain expert knowledge of EY’s business to ensure we are positioned to meet the dynamic and evolving needs. You will be responsible for employing a OneEY approach while curating a diverse candidate pool to share with market recruiters. You will be expected to analyze and strategically manage the pipeline, leveraging all elements of the sourcing ecosystem in order to achieve those needs. As such, developing transparent relationships with other recruiters (School, TA, Market etc.), Service Line CRLs, & D&I Leads will be critical. You will act with agility, monitor/escalate trends, and competitive market intelligence, and demonstrate a focus on diversity and inclusion, business needs, and all profiles being sought.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the talent management/talent attraction recruiter for a specific profile of talent to support the EY practices seeking that profile

  • Identify and attract prospects through a variety of sources including, but not limited to, LinkedIn, WayUp, Handshake, RippleMatch and Yello

  • Identify, engage, attract, and educate talent through the recruiting process. Manage talent through to the appropriate market/practice by merging applicant preferences with known business needs/requirements

  • Maintain connectivity to the business through the Service Line networks and Service Line leads. Apply that knowledge and insight to effectively pipeline talent

  • Act as the campus sourcing contact for key client groups and candidates. Develop sound business relationships with internal clients to achieve stated goals.

  • Cultivate relationships with Market Recruiters, School Recruiters, Recruiting Leaders and other stakeholders. Through regular cadence connections, provide updates on pipeline development, and participate in strategic planning and feedback discussions as appropriate.

  • Through expert knowledge of our digital platforms, develop and implement sourcing and recruiting strategies to drive the necessary results

  • Review and triage applications within the targeted timeframe to ensure compliance with SLAs and provide a positive, competitive candidate experience

  • Team with other talent attraction and talent management recruiters within the CST, the D&I sourcing lead, and the D&I COE team to implement DEI strategies for the attraction of diverse talent

  • Scan the marketplace for trends, obtain information on competitive positioning, and report these findings to the Campus Sourcing Leader. Provide recommendations regarding how this information could affect future sourcing strategies

  • Master the use of recruiting tools and technologies (Yello, Success Factors, LinkedIn, WayUp, Handshake, etc.) to remain at the forefront of digital sourcing practices. Research and recommend the use of other vendors that may improve the effectiveness of recruiting and/or sourcing activities. May be involved in testing and/or manage the rollout of a new tool or technology to the recruiting community

  • Exhibit high attention to detail in all administrative and reporting activities, including but not limited to key process and strategy metrics

Knowledge and skills requirements

  • Knowledge of recruitment/hiring laws and practices

  • Established understanding of the firm's campus recruitment policies, processes and protocols, including knowledge of the campus recruiting cycle and strategy for identifying and selecting top intern, entry level, and graduate talent

  • Ability to assess whether candidates have the appropriate skills, competencies, and experiences required to meet the specifications of proposed position(s)

  • Ability to articulate and market EY opportunities to candidates while ensuring a consistently exceptional candidate experience

  • Innovative mindset and ability to quickly adapt to, embrace, and champion new technology and tools. Serve as a change agent as new technology, tools and processes are rolled out

  • Foundational knowledge of the firm's service lines, specialty practices, high growth areas, and be able to develop a detailed understanding of campus candidate profiles across multiple positions and practices

  • Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with organizational awareness and an understanding of how to manage sensitive relationships

  • Refined communication skills, both verbal and written, with the comfort-level to disposition candidates in a professional manner and share these decisions with internal clients

  • Tenacity in following-up with internal clients to ensure task assignments are completed in a timely manner

  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, multitasking environment

  • Extremely responsive and comfortable with continuous change

  • Ability to utilize strategic thinking skills and work to collaborate with fellow team members on best practices

  • Employs a consultative approach with clients and key stakeholders

  • Proficient in MS Office suite, Yello, and other platforms

  • Strong reporting and organization skills

  • May be responsible for assuming leadership of team process and/or strategically important project(s)

Experience

  • Senior Associate: minimum of 2-4 years related experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
