FY21 includes the launch of EY Private, our new approach to winning in the Core within NextWave. EY Private will bring professionals currently in PCS Assurance, PCS Tax and Growth Markets together into one collaborative community, and you will be instrumental in driving through this major change program in Americas.

The opportunity

This is a business-critical role reporting to the Americas EY Private Leadership team, supporting the team in running the day to day operations across Markets and all service lines. The responsibilities of the role include supporting the EY Private Leadership team across Americas in developing Area priorities and agreeing on high impact action plans for driving revenue in EY Private. The role also includes support of major initiatives, support of all meetings and workshops; supporting learning and development activities for the EY Private community; and other miscellaneous support to the Americas Private Leadership team as required. This is a varied role in a busy team and requires someone who is confident, robust, and able to succeed working under pressure. This person works collaboratively with various stakeholders in the firm and closely with the Americas Area leadership team as required.

The role is primarily focused on supporting the EY Private Leadership team pro-actively assessing and managing the continuous improvement of the operations environment to ensure that the business functions efficiently and effectively. Specifically, this role supports the leadership team in leveraging best practices and working closely with local project teams and partners to execute programs such as: EY Private Client Experience, EY Private Market Activation and EY Private Academy.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Assist the EY Private Area Leadership team in the implementation of new large-scale projects and initiatives including developing project plans, monitoring milestones, and establishing specific processes and protocols.

  • Assists the EY Private Area Leadership team in supporting EY Private Regional Leaders in evaluating, localizing, and implementing Global tools and enablers to support market activation.

  • Collaborates with the Knowledge Research Analysts in developing market insights and content to inform local development of enablers, tools, and programs for strategic priorities relevant to the market (Family Enterprise, Family Office, IPOs, and Entrepreneurs).

  • Works with the Learning & Development team in developing and deploying education programs designed to build go-to-market capabilities of EY people serving companies in the Private market.

  • Provides support with budget activities including accounts payable and the processing of invoices and contract renewals.

  • Supports the Americas EY Private Team in developing and maintaining project/program documentation (reporting, meeting minutes, status updates, etc.)

  • Ability to take ownership for delivering customized projects with a high degree of autonomy and manage multiple, highly complex projects simultaneously

  • Solid presentation skills; demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of domain and EY leadership

  • Succinct and structured oral and written communications skills with proven ability to explain complex concepts in a crisp, clear, concise, and graphic-rich style, using appropriate analytics and visualization tools.

  • Strong attention to detail even when dealing with routine tasks.

  • Exposure to SharePoint and creating content in SharePoint would be beneficial.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI an asset but not required.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Good understanding of the firm’s Service Lines, Go-to-market strategy and our external market

  • Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to apply areas of knowledge to extrapolate content for market use

  • Exceptional project management skills to lead multiple workstreams across borders, industries, clients, functions, and service lines

  • Ability to thrive with ambiguity and drive the achievement of organizational objectives in an environment of constant change
