The opportunity

EY's Technology Solutions Delivery practice assists our national consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle initiatives along with providing experience in leading practices, methods, and resources in the Oracle’s applications and technology space. Oracle Applications and Technology Services within the COE supports our area offices by providing resources that can design, architect, deliver and lead these innovative initiatives. This group advises clients to understand, architect and implement the core applications and technology required to run their business.

Your keyresponsibilities

This position will support consulting by managing project teams through agreed upon phases of the ERP project governance, requirements definition, technology risk analysis, customization, testing, implementation, training and rollout of a client's project lifecycle. They will also provide business development assistance.

  • Demonstrate quality project execution and delivery bysuccessfully monitoring project/program team economics, performanceagainst the job arrangement and budget, and proactively adjust scope,timing, and resources as appropriate and if necessary

  • Develop people by encouraging individuals to think forthemselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.Delegate work successfully. Conduct timely performance reviews and provideperformance feedback/training. Lead by example

  • Generate new business opportunities by thoroughlyunderstanding EY and its service lines and actively assessing andpresenting ways to apply knowledge and services

  • Develop long-term relationships and networks bothinternally and externally

  • Manage and supervise a team of technology professionalsthrough all phases of the technology lifecycle, including requirementsdefinition, architecture design, conversion and testing

  • Interact and communicate effectively with finance andtechnology senior and middle management executives

To qualify for the roleyou must have

  • a bachelor's degree and approximately 5 years ofrelated work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years ofrelated work experience

  • 5-10 years of experience working with an ERPsystem in a software development role, enterprise application architectureor enterprise technology, with at least 1 year spent in a managerial andIT/business integration role

  • Proven track record in integration technologiesutilizing SOA and SOA frameworks with Oracle Cloud applications

  • approximately 2 years of practical Oracle CloudApplications implementation experience

  • demonstrated use of Oracle methodologies such as OUM orAIM

  • strong written and verbal communication, presentation,client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a stronginterest in further developing and integrating enterprise businessprocesses with technology skills

  • ability and comfort level researching client inquiriesand emerging issues, including emerging technologies, SOA governance, andnew technologies

  • The successful candidate must also be willing and ableto travel 70-90% of a work schedule

Ideally, you’ll alsohave

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering,MIS, Mathematics, or related field (MBA or MS degree preferred)
