Your key responsibilities
We are looking to add experienced leadership to our Business Transformation team to take point on helping our clients build their Sustainability strategies, roadmaps, and initiatives, as well as integrate these objectives with the plethora of other, related transformation drivers faced by organizations today.
We'll look to you to take ownership of key deliverables and workstreams by developing a point of view, driving problem solving and insightful analysis of our clients' most strategic issues. You will interact directly with our clients and continually challenge yourself to navigate ambiguous situations and ever-changing circumstances. You'll add value by looking at the bigger picture and thinking creatively for new solutions.

To qualify for this role you must have
A bachelor's degree in a STEM-focused curriculum
7+ years of work experience within industry or consulting, focused on Sustainability initiatives, and particularly related to decarbonization and emissions management
Deep problem-solving capabilities and intellectual curiosity, using both quantitative and qualitative approaches, in the following areas:
Current-state sustainability assessments and gap analysis
Visioning and strategy workshop leadership on Sustainability
Experience in design and implementation of Sustainability-related initiatives and/or reporting
Defining roadmap and implementation plans
Knowledge of/experience in working within complex technology, organization and process changes
Ideally, you will also have
Sustainability or graduate degree from a leading STEM or business program
Experience using one or more Sustainability centric tools or systems
Exposure to corporate reporting and/or regulatory reporting on Sustainability-related topic areas
Previously engaged in carbon emission management and/or environmental & social impact assessment
Market sizing / market analysis, business / value case identification, operating model design
A collaborative approach to work, with strong team and personal leadership
The motivation to develop your skills by taking ownership of new challenges
Excellent listening and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data insights simply and effectively across audiences
Exceptional skill in using Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and/or other platforms for digital presentation

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $119,900 to $219,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $143,900 to $249,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
