Americas Industry and Solutions Marketing Manager, Assistant Director

As a Marketing Manager for Americas Industry and Solutions, you will strategically position EY’s distinctive brand for industry and work across multiple stakeholder groups to drive an optimized approach to industry marketing. This role sits within the Americas Integrated Marketing CoE, with a US-wide scope.

Working closely with the Americas Markets Sustainability and Solutions Marketing Leader you will play a crucial role in meeting go-to-market objectives by assisting in the creation and implementation of US-wide multi-channel industry marketing programs. You will also work closely with marketing leadership across Regions and industry teams to establish consistency and identify best practices.

Essential functions of the role:

  • Work as part of a team that collaborates with Americas Markets to develop a multi-channel marketing program that helps drive EY’s overall Industry brand

  • Manage peer networks with industry marketing teams to drive a consistent and coordinated voice in the market

  • Collaborate with Markets and industry marketing to obtain feedback for ROI and message development

  • Work closely with industry marketing leaders to establish consistency in positioning for priority industry programs

  • Work as part of a team to develop a go-to-market playbook for industry programs, inclusive of a brand eminence strategy that will increase visibility for the breadth of our industry expertise

  • As needed, support the intersection of Americas Industry and Solutions on key convergence campaigns

  • Collaborate with BMC teams and other internal functions to effectively develop campaigns (Knowledge, Business Development, Service Line, Agencies etc)

  • Track the effectiveness of overall industry marketing campaign, providing measurement reports and status updates

  • Effectively manage multiple concurrent initiatives

  • Work independently to resolve challenges while maintaining an active dialogue with all stakeholders

  • Proactively share marketing insights and market knowledge

  • Engage in and at times lead, peer networks with sector and service lines to drive a consistent and coordinated voice in the market

  • Collaborate with Markets and sector BMC to obtain feedback for ROI and message development

Knowledge and Skills Requirement:

  • Needs to have understanding of sector’s business and EY services lines so that they can create marketing collateral aligned with strategy

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities

  • A proven track record of success in a large, global and highly-matrixed enterprise – ideally in the professional and/or financial services industry

  • Understanding of advanced marketing and communication principles and preferably, exposure to industry marketplace issues

  • A solid understanding of the go-to-market and sales processes in a complex organization.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as in virtual teams

  • Strong project management skills and proficiency at effectively managing multiple complex and time-sensitive projects

  • Demonstrated ability to interface with senior management and team across groups of diverse stakeholders

  • Proven talent at building relationships and influencing without authority to produce results and outcomes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the talent to translate complex technical concepts into compelling marketing messages

  • As a portion of this role involves creating time-sensitive materials for clients (internal and external) and programs in a fast-paced environment, efficient time management and prioritization skills are essential and extended hours are sometimes required

  • Responsibility to adhere to internal reporting requirements and risk management protocols
