Job Summary:
The role of Power & Utilities Manager will be to provide advisory/consulting services to Power & Utilities clients helping them improve business performance
Help to mentor, coach and counsel their team members and help EY to build an inclusive culture and high performing teams
Maximize operational efficiencies on engagements
Enhance EY’s brand through strong external relationships across a network of existing and future clients
Provide strategic and relevant insight, connectedness and responsiveness to all clients to anticipate their needs
Stay current with the latest trends in the Power & Utilities industry in order to be a trusted advisor/Subject matter experts for our client’s business
Key Responsibilities:
Provide industry insights that energize growth
Lead Consulting engagements that solve complex issues in the Power & Utilities industry
Successfully mentor, coach and delegate work to team members
Support EY’s inclusiveness culture
Successfully manage engagement time and budgets
Demonstrate deep understanding of the client’s industry and marketplace
Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge and enhance client service delivery
Generate new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions
Develop long term relationships with networks both internally and externally
To qualify, candidates must have:
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Marketing, Economics, Finance or related field
A minimum of 5 years of related work experience or a graduate degree and 4 years of related work experience
A minimum of 4 years of experience delivering advisory services to Power & Utilities clients
Experience leading teams, managing engagement economics and business development
Flexibility to work across advisory services if needed
Proven work experience in one or more of the following areas; Transmission, Distribution, Generation, Nuclear, Regulatory, Customer, Supply Chain, Finance Transformation, OMS, DMS, EAM, ERP (SAP, Oracle or Maximo) implementation
Willingness to travel up to 80%, valid driver’s license and US passport required
