Consultant, Business Consulting - Financial Services Risk Management - Capital, Stress Testing & Credit Risk Management (Regulatory Capital) Financial Services Office (Senior) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, San Francisco, CA.

Analyze and manage risk management issues by developing programs to address capital adequacy and prudent credit risk management standards. Team with regulatory and industry professionals to develop and deliver a wide range of tailored strategies and solutions. Help clients manage operational and/or enterprise risks by technical capabilities in a wide range of subjects across the end-to-end regulatory capital process, including Basel and relevant regulation, capital calculations, controls, governance structures, reporting, and capital efficiency. Enable clients to develop and maintain credit risk measurement given industry challenges.

Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or related field and 2 years of related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or related field and 1 year of related work experience.

Must have 1 year of business consulting or strategy consulting experience.

Must have 1 year of work experience in a regulatory capital domain such as Basel, economic capital, or financial planning and analysis.

Must have 1 year of consulting, stress testing, regulatory or Rating Agency experience, or accounting/control function experience.

Must have 1 year of operational or technical experience in any of the following:

  • Regulatory reporting for capital related schedules which must include FY-14As, FRY14-Ms, FY-14Qs, Basel, or FFEIC101

  • Basel regulations or end-to-end reporting processes

  • Developing regulatory policies/procedures with implementation experience

  • Developing end to end documentation to support stress testing submissions

-Credit risk management reporting, including risk rating systems, counterparty credit risk, or regulatory capital.

Requires domestic travel up to 25% to serve client needs.
