Join our Enterprise Support Services (ESS) team and you’ll be an integral part of our business enablement functions that keeps our organization running strong. You’ll use your interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with employees at all levels. As an ESS Operations Specialist, you’ll work across teams to provide the operational support, knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability.

The opportunity

As an ESS Operations Specialist, Senior Associate, you’ll be focused on EY office operational efficiencies and implementation of ESS programs. You’ll monitor compliance and operational performance in accordance with established ESS parameters, handle issues and identify and escalate risks to ensure objectives are met and implemented in alignment with key business needs and knowledge principles. You’ll also support project/program management, executing and deployment of projects and/or programs, as well as continuous improvement initiatives, measurement, tracking, reporting and analysis.

Your key responsibilities

Coordinate, support, execute timely completion of core business operational activities in accordance with the firm’s guidance

Set up full project plans including; objectives, milestones, priorities, team, calendar and nature of deliverables; may review workflow demands and recommend staffing alignment

Monitor compliance, identify and escalate risks to the success of the operations

Provide documentation for and attend operations or project review meetings and/or other meetings

Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders with increasing client / business exposure and may directly supervise / mentor junior team members, handle problems and issues and collect and disseminate relevant information

Focus on EY office operational efficiencies and implementation of ESS programs and may include; tracking and coordination of budgets, processes and resources, internal cross-functional and outward-facing firm programs, events and initiatives, support for office communications, procedures and emergency preparedness, local orientations, and special projects

Flexible for limited travel and to work nonstandard hours as required to meet business needs

Must be able to effectively manage multiple, simultaneous, complex initiatives or projects applying influencing and negotiating skills

Create tools/independent spreadsheets to help analyze compliance and/or project metrics

Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills

To qualify for the role, you must have

The ability to work within an EY office, EY client or EY sponsored event

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required

4 plus years of related experience

Proficient in Firm Standard technology including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint

Ideally, you’ll also have

Experience with data visualization tools
