EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) is the fastest growing sub service line in EY Assurance with annual total net revenues over $1.3 billion. FAAS services cover a wide range of accounting and reporting, transaction accounting, treasury, and corporate governance services that can make your business meet changing market conditions, demands for greater transparency and changing regulatory requirements.Our Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) group within FAAS also helps our clients to address their most pressing concerns related to Climate Change and Decarbonization, Environmental, Social, and Goverance (ESG), and Envionment, Health & Safety (EHS).
Demand for managed services has skyrocketed and FAAS has an ambition has an ambition and target to grow our managed services business to approx. to $500m per annum by 2024. FAAS leadership is building a team dedicated to governing and executing on key priorities of FAAS Managed Service offerings at a Global level.
Your key responsibilities
This role would support the Global FAAS Managed Services Leader. A primary focus will be on creation of long term value for global FAAS from new opportunities, markets and relationships. This will involve driving the managed services strategy out into the markets and ensuring regional alignment / activation to develop growth opportunities. Additionally the role will facilitate pursuing strategic opportunities through coordination of activities such as training program development for FAAS practitioners, building of brand and marketing collateral, and inorganic growth through the Acquisition Program, The role would also have direct oversight of the FAAS managed services PMO function, which is currently staffed out of GDS.
Skills and attributes for success
The role will focus heavily on engaging with the regions and markets to facilitate embracing our managed services strategy and developing local knowledge. It will also require partnering across business functions such as BMC, Learning, Knowledge and Acquisitions to develop the necessary infrastructure for FAAS’s managed service offerings. This role will be instrumental in evolving FAAS’s managed service into a discrete discipline and the ideal candidate will need the skill and experience to assess execution priorities to ensure the global FAAS managed services organization can operate at maximum effectiveness.
To qualify for the role you must have
At least 8+ years of experience
BS / Undergrad degree, preferably in accounting and/or other business discipline
A strong network within EY
Outstanding business partnering and communications skills
Willingness to travel for support of key events or regional engagement activities / forums / workshops
I deally, you’ll also have
Background knowledge and understanding of FAAS offerings
Outstanding presentation development skills
Project management experience
