IT Advisor, Technology Consulting, (Technology Strategy & Transformation – Cloud Architecture) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1549785), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, San Francisco, CA.
Advise clients on the design and implementation of cloud technologies that drive business performance. Focus on the evaluation, strategy, design, customization and optimization of Digital and Cloud Technology based solutions. Define and architect IT services as they relate to business processes with an ability to relate IT services in business terms. Analyze client requirements, procedures, and problems to offer recommendations to improve and automate the client’s IT systems, processes, infrastructure, and cloud technologies. Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Analyze the client’s information processing and computation needs to assess and improve the effectiveness of technology infrastructure and cloud platforms. Plan and design systems and recommend software. Work on large complex solution delivery programs or projects in all areas of cloud architecture (business, information, application, technology, security, and governance). Establish and control architecture governance and compliance, processes, and community of the practice. Teaming with client technology professionals, and third-party strategic alliances. Working in project teams through agreed upon phases of project governance, requirements definition, vendor selection, business cases, risk analysis, customization, testing, training and rollout of a client's project lifecycle. Help develop applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the Cloud Technology market.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field and 4 years of work experience.
Must have 4 years of advisory and/or consulting experience in technology strategy and cloud architecture.
Must have at least 3 years of experience in providing advisory and/or consulting services to enterprises in one or a combination of any of the following:
developing cloud financial models, including rationalizing costs;
developing cloud strategies and business case; and/or
data center migration.
Must have at least 3 years of technical or business analyst experience in 3 of the following areas:
application development,
data and analytics,
network topologies and configuration,
virtualization,
storage management,
security,
regulatory compliance,
operations management,
cloud technology delivery, or
enterprise data migration.
Must have at least 2 years of technical and hands-on experience in 1 of the following: Microsoft Azure; Amazon Web Services (AWS); Google Cloud Services; or IBM cloud services.
Must have 3 years of experience in one or a combination of any of the following:
Managing cloud architecture programs and/or projects;
Large complex solution delivery programs or projects in all areas of architecture (business, information, application, technology, security, governance, and cloud); and/or
Client interaction experience, including client presentations, meeting facilitation, and teaming skills.
Must have 2 years of experience managing and mentoring teams of at least 2 people.
Must have 2 years of project management experience within a professional services firm.
Requires travel up to 60%, of which 10% may be international, to serve client needs.
