The opportunity
Individual will work as part of a team or individually to lead Finance workstream of Infor ERP implementation, providing proven experience during implementation, upgrade or redesign projects. General requirements include hands-on experience with implementations and/or upgrades of the Infor Finance functional suite along with project leadership and subject-matter experience. Position works directly with client providing hands-on leadership, process design, application build support, training, testing, go-live support and change management.
Your key responsibilities
Lead Finance workstream of Infor ERP implementations including initiation, planning, design, build and deploy phases
Responsible for documenting business requirements, system design and transformational goals
Team with clients to understand current state processes and define future state business processes based on business objectives
Configure applications according to requirements and design and conduct required testing
Support development of training materials to support user adoption and conduct training classes
Provide post-go-live support
Manage resources and budget on client projects
Manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training and defining support procedures
Participation in program leadership, governance and change enablement
Assist practice leadership in creating proposals, budgets and work plans
Participate in other business development activities as appropriate
Skills and attributes for success
Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge in your functional area of finance. Demonstrate ability to quickly learn new processes and uncover new offering that may assist current customer base.
Provide mentoring and motivate diverse client engagement teams by delivering constructive on-the-job coaching to team members, while fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
Drive high-quality work within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure clients are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
Build relationships with client personnel and deliver quality client services. Strive to assist our clients uncover additional areas of opportunity and manage the business development process.
Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess what the firm can deliver to serve clients.
To qualify for the role you must have
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS or related field.
Deep understanding of financial and accounting processes including record to report, order to cash, procure to pay, period end close and financial reporting.
Five to seven years of related work experiencewith a minimum two plus years of Infor/Lawson Financials experience includingfull suite implementations and/or major upgrades of the following applications:
General Ledger
Accounts Payable/APIA
Accounts Receivable
Grants Management
Activity Management
Billing
Close Management
Asset Management
Current knowledge of the Infor Lawson System
Knowledge of Cloud Suite Financials preferred
Minimum one full recent Infor/Lawson Financials implementation, version 10 or higher (full-life cycle to include: requirements gathering, business process design, testing, go-live and production support)
Ideally, you’ll also have
Master’s degree
Experience supporting health care-related clients/industry
