The Advisory Testing team works with some of the world’s best-known large domestic and global financial institutions, broker-dealers, foreign banking organizations, asset management firms and insurance companies who look to us to assist them with IT Quality Transformation & Application Test Delivery challenges.

Your key responsibilities
Everything you’ll do will come back to provide exceptional application testing (now called Quality Engineering) subject matter expertise and solve complex problems that make a difference for our clients. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so you’ll be a high-profile contact when it comes to solve complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you’ll become a credible advisor, influence clients and engagement teams on key decision makings.

Partner with clients to drive and orchestrate transformational change in the way they deliver application testing services in their organizations
Proven expertise in Insurance industry across distribution, sales, service, product management, claims, customer experience & analytics
Demonstrated leadership in successfully leading client engagement teams and working with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services in the Insurance domain.
Effectively manage and motivate client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds
Share past experience, knowledge and develop tools and enablers to build new capabilities and upskill team members internally
The executive presence to interact with the C-Suite
A passionate leader with a strong vision, enjoy working collaboratively to solve problems, and a desire to stay on top of trends in the Insurance industry
Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships and networks
Developing relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs
Remaining current on new developments in the Insurance advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
15+ years of experience in QA consulting to Insurance clients focused on operating model transformation, business process improvement, business capability uplift, etc. with deep knowledge of insurance products, services, channels, functions, and processes
8+ years of demonstrated ability to identify, shape and lead management consulting work in the Insurance industry, working collaboratively with client senior leaders and teams
Experience in managing test efforts with at least one of the Life and Annuities platforms: ALIP, DXC wmA, FAST, Fineos, Unqork and OIPA
Significant advisory/consulting experience within Insurance (Life & Annuities) Platform conversion/modernization efforts is required
The hunger to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into value add solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience with tracking and reporting SLAs and KPIs in a managed service testing engagement
Technical expertise in implementing industry standard testing methodology and tools

A deep understanding of test planning and delivery challenges
Achieve growth by understanding EY and its service lines and actively assessing/presenting ways to apply knowledge and services
Generate new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions aligned to client needs
