Advisory Services Senior Manager, Life Sciences Tech Consulting, US

The opportunity
You will help our clients navigate the complex world of Information Strategy and Management. We'll look to you to provide our clients with a unique business perspective that's rooted in modernized thinking with respect to how to perform Master Data Management, Data Governance, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Content Management, and Knowledge Management can transform and improve their entire organization – starting with key business issues they face. In addition, you will help our clients modernize their information management approach and procedures for areas such as: "agile" governance for big data, practice management and many other rapidly evolving opportunities. Your key responsibilities
You'll spend most of your time managing client engagement teams, working with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, and managing business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.

Effectively managing and motivating client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Providing constructive on- the- job feedback/coaching to team members.
Deep knowledge of Life Sciences Research and Early Discovery (R&ED) data & analytics in Target Screening, Lead Optimization, Vaccines, Lab – Dry & Wet, Instrumentation, LIMS, CMC and other relevant areas.
Strong Life Sciences R&ED Data Information Architecture Development – Functional and Technical experience.
Fostering an innovative and inclusive team- oriented work environment. Playing an active role in counselling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization
Cultivating and managing business development opportunities. Developing and maintaining long- term client relationships and networks.
Assisting in the strategy and implementation of Master Data Management, Data Governance, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Content Management and Knowledge Management using modern techniques and approaches.
Developing thought leadership for your area of expertise to help strengthen EY's brand in the data management space.
To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor's degree and approximately eight years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately seven years of related work experience
A minimum of six years' experience in providing complex consultative services in the following focus areas: information strategy, big data architecture, information/data governance, master data management, data quality, data integration particularly in a life science or healthcare setting.
A strong working knowledge and point of view on the evolving concepts and practices for modernizing information management
A working knowledge of the modernized information management tool landscape (e.g. Talend, Collibra, Atlas, Reltio, Trifacta, Tamr, StreamSets, etc.)
Proficiency with advising clients on the full data supply chain from data wrangling to data consumption via analytics.
A proven track record of driving revenue within existing clients and developing new prospects at the "C" level of Fortune 500 companies
Proven track record of understanding business challenges and translating them into value add solutions - strong analytical and problem- solving skills - actively participate in brainstorming, identifying core issues and effectively finding and using data to manage complex analysis
Engagement leadership experience including: managing junior level consulting staff, providing regular status updates, monitoring project economics, as well as managing client relationships
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80%. A valid driver's license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally
Ideally, you'll also have
Degree emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Computer Science, IT or Engineering preferred; MBA desired
Master's or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience with big data platforms and cloud (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, etc)
Experience with data and systems architecture (APIs, messaging, etc.)
Experience with master data management and data governance
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $142,600 to $325,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $171,100 to $370,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
