The opportunity

We are rapidly growing our support for the Supply Chain of global manufacturing and as part of this growth we need someone to work with our Global EY teams to implement our EY Catalyst digital solutions. This role will be at the forefront of working with the EY teams on our client sites deploying our leading digital Smart Factory Solutions, so if you want to really know what leading global companies are doing in Industry 4.0 and want to be part of building the perfect way of deploying the technologies this role is for you. As you will be working with EY teams across the globe and in multiple industries you will be able to influence both what EY develops in the Smart Factory space and own the deployment methodologies we use. Although this is working with global teams as much of the work is remote support the location is flexible and working from home or a local office is a possibility.

Your key responsibilities

  • Working as part of the client success team, this role will be the first point of contact for smaller projects or a part of a larger project for the relationship between EY Catalyst and the internal client, account, and software development teams. Engaging the EY team during the sales process you will support them though the planning, scoping and contracting part of the process. You will then project manage the EY Catalyst part of the deployment process, with the EY teams, post sales to provide guidance and training to the teams relating to the deployment of EY Catalyst products using our normative delivery model. This role also includes aligning with the EY internal teams and supporting client configuration and ongoing software development. In addition, this role will proactively and reflectively review processes to provide input to build, improve, develop and future proof them where possible.

  • Project Managing the client success and deployment activities between the Account team and the software development team, this role will ensure that PMO, costs, subscriptions, onboarding, training and capability building of the EY Account team and the client are developed and executed to timelines and in line with the deployment plan they devised, providing regular status reports to key stakeholders. The role holder will also be involved in co-developing the necessary project deliverables, leveraging the EY Smart Factory solution, and supporting its delivery.

  • Supporting and providing input into the prioritization of product improvements based on feedback from Account and Client Teams including relevant development work i.e. authoring or reviewing product content this role will be involved in facilitating and improving communication throughout the process.

  • Managing communication and providing updates to key stakeholders regarding product improvements, including translation, and collaborating with account teams to document key elements this role will enable continual knowledge building around the value add and importance to the client for use in future sales activity.

  • Responsible for the documenting of ‘Learn From Experience’ opportunities for each client engagement. This role will facilitate the development and improvement of standard deployment methodologies, including new solutions, documenting knowledge building and deployment support materials as required.

  • Responsible for the upkeep of material and liaison with relevant teams, for example marketing, to ensure content is maintained and shared across key stakeholders this role will own the delivery model for the product category, lead the updating of the material and training the global deployment teams on all updates and changes.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical project delivery and project management

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally, to achieve the goals of the project, and more broadly EY.

  • Ability to speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.

  • Innovative and able to develop new and unique ways to improve and evolve work processes

  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness in a multi-national project team

  • Ability to positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization.

  • Essential: Practical experience and knowledge of Manufacturing

  • Essential: MS Office-type applications (including word processing and spreadsheet apps)

  • Favourable: Experience of IT/OT system in a manufacturing environment

  • Favourable: Experience of P&G IWS/OpEx/Lean Manufacturing content and deployment

  • Favourable: Experience of Wider manufacturing Supply Chain

Other Requirements:

  • As this role is part of a global team, some travel may be required, however this role could be home based as a primary location.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university degree is preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing project delivery and project management, and in deploying or working in a manufacturing environment

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $61,900 to $112,300. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $74,300 to $127,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
