Strategic Brand Marketing Leader, Associate Director
Employing a digital-first mindset, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and set the direction for the key strategic marketing programs, what we call the “X factor” aligned to the Consulting practice’s goals and revenue plan. In this position, you will create and execute a broad range of marketing programs. You will help to develop the consulting brand, working closely with marketing and leadership teams across the organization to develop and implement integrated marketing programs that build brand, reputation and relationships.You’ll work agilely with enabling teams to co-develop and coordinate go-to-market programs that help bring awareness to those programs that provide EY with the “X factor” in the market.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will be at the forefront of creating marketing campaigns around brand and cross buyer initiatives. From Gen Z to Empathic Leadership to Emerging/Digital Technologies, you will be creating programs that differentiate EY. You are responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies for end-to-end demand generation programs including drip/nurture email campaigns, content syndication, branding/content for EY-hosted and third-party events, among other channels, to drive demand and measurable impact a wide range of key programs and initiative essential to building our brand and driving revenue.
Work closely with key business leaders across the consulting organization to create marketing campaigns that bring to life the “X factor” through compelling stories and help to build the consulting brand
Understand the ‘white space’ opportunities vs our competition to help build the consulting brand and drive overall consideration
Lead all programs that are cross-buyer in nature to ensure that we have an integrate messages for our buyers in paid, owned and earned channels
Partnering closely with our demand generation team, you will help to plan and execute programs, relying on a strong understanding of the sales funnel content strategy including thought leadership through sales enablement
Ensure campaigns are being developed aligned to business goals for key buyer personas and embedding into campaigns as appropriate
Work collaboratively with content strategy team and our PR team to develop high impact assets and optimize SEO/SEM, ABM, social and PPC strategies
Collaborate with other service lines and sectors across the Americas to build integrated campaigns
Measure, analyze and report campaign performance
Oversee one or more direct reports including project management and reporting
Proactively engage appropriate specialty groups (e.g., creative services) to help complete program deliverables. This includes internal and external communications, video, thought leadership, branding, digital marketing, and more
Adhere to EY independence, procurement, branding, invoicing policies and guidelines
Ability to project manage complex programs and drive relationship building efforts
Skills and attributes for success
Successful demonstrate experience in building a brand, B2B experience is preferred
Adept at creating strategic, targeted and impactful go-to-market initiatives to commercialize services and solutions
Proven track record of accomplishments in multichannel marketing and ability to drive the build of engaging content behind strategic initiatives
Ability to leverage social media and influencer marketing to drive awareness with B2B products and services
Create measurable impact through providing exceptional client service, act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for project management
Ability to project manage complex programs and drive relationship building efforts at all levels, internally and externally
Manage relationships with external agencies, effectively articulating business needs and KPIs to brief and engage outside vendors
Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua, Google Analytics/AdWords) to target buyers, benchmark campaigns and track ROI)
Ability to work autonomously when necessary in a virtual work environment, while leading a team that is geographically dispersed
What we look for in a candidate
Minimum of 10+ years of brand marketing experience
Experience with influencer marketing to B2B audiences
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field, MBA desired
Strong business acumen, critical thinking and analytical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentations) as well as listening, interpretation and influencing skills
Excellent project management skills, team building and interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise and easily digestible manner for broad audiences
Poise and confidence to professionally interact with various levels of leadership
What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $129,600 to $242,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $155,600 to $275,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
