The opportunity

The Creative Director of Technology Service Delivery leads the creative vision, strategy, and delivery of multiple design efforts, while maximizing growth for individuals on project teams. You will understand the needs of our clients and their customers, and translate those needs into clear, actionable, creative strategies. You'll define the conceptual direction for projects and collaborate across disciplines to ensure the delivery of compelling and usable digital experiences.

You'll powerfully and simply communicate principles and methods in experience and visual design disciplines and have a strong command of related disciplines, including available research methodologies.

Your key responsibilities

As Creative Director, you will present and discuss the company's project deliverables, services, and capabilities to prospective clients in a way that reflects the brand, culture, and philosophy of the firm. You will establish and maintain design standards including the development of a design language system, utilization of design tools and frameworks, oversight of development implementations and design QA. You will partner with leadership to establish and maintain standards and practices including sprint ceremonies, collaborative meetings, and generative workshops. Finally, you will work with project managers to manage client and project expectations and schedules; serving as key day-to-day client contact for design and leader of internal project teams.

The specific details of the Creative Director role may vary, but common responsibilities will include:

  • Leading cross-functional teams while overseeing multiple large engagements and being accountable for results.

  • Using data, best practices, and intuition to create compelling strategies; Establishing and selling a vision and a strong point of view during the new business process as well as throughout client engagements

  • Building strong relationships with clients through honesty and transparency; Identifying opportunity areas and driving change and improvements

  • Establishing an environment for the creative team to work and thrive. You will be responsible for ensuring that associates have a clear growth path; identifying training, connections, and projects that enable that growth

  • Driving an inclusive and respectful environment internally and in client interactions

  • Setting a vision in ambiguous environments; creating clarity out of chaos for the team

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX Design, Industrial or Product Design

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in the field with progressive leadership responsibilities

  • 3+ years' experience supporting complex, digital transformation projects

  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Creative Cloud apps, Figma, Sketch, Abstract, Keynote, InVision and other prototyping software

  • A portfolio that reflects your design experience and leadership

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; writing, publishing and conference-level presentation skills

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel

Ideally, you'll also have

  • A Bachelor of Arts or equivalent degree

  • Rich experience communicating and interacting with clients

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
