Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team works with clients to manage their capital agenda to drive competitive advantage and increased returns. As part of a global team of 10,000 professionals in 100 countries you will advise clients on preserving, optimizing, raising or investing capital. Major groups (or, as we call them, sub-service lines and competencies) within TAS include Mergers and Acquisition Services, Project Finance, Restructuring Services, Operational Transaction Services, Transaction Support, Transaction Tax, and Valuation and Business Modeling.

Leveraging an extensive global network, our M&A team provides sector-focused advice on the sale process from strategic positioning to close, and we help execute acquisitions, alliances and mergers. As part of this team you may also advise C-suite executives and boards on evaluating strategic alternatives in the context of transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in defining target-screening scope, and comprehensively evaluate companies in their market positioning and product competitiveness.

  • Valuate different financial vehicles and packages, andlead in preparing financial models.

  • Evaluate and source the deal flow, and attend related investment activities.

  • Work closely with Partners or SeniorManagers in deal negotiation and closing of sales contracts.

  • Lead in field work in marketing materials, including teaser, information memorandum/business plan, model, most of the field communication with minor guidance.

  • Facilitate post-sale service engagement.

  • Prepare M&A proposals and reports to clients, communicate direct with key management team of clients, other advisors.

  • Maintain good relationship with potential clients and targets, various investors like PE houses, and various advisors like Due Diligence teams or co-FA.

Requirements:

  • University graduates with a minimum of 5-years working experience in capital market.

  • Good understanding of M&A cycle.

  • Strong project management skill and interpersonal skills

  • Take ownership of client strategic business plan and Information Memorandum drafting

  • Be proficient and excellent in PPT skills

  • Be professional in Financial Models

  • Ability to analyze financial statements and forecasts.

  • Familiar with research and analysis tools.

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

  • Previous big 4 M&A / Financial Due Diligence/ Valuation/ Strategy/ Consulting experience preferred.
