As part of our business development team, you’ll play an important role in business development and gain insights into leading Government institutions, NGOs and multilateral development banks. By understanding their business issues and imperatives, you’ll broaden your experience. Collaborating with other teams, you’ll help to identify and shape the solutions to client issues. Backed by the resources of a global organisation, you’ll gain experiences and foster relationships that will support your long-term success.
You’ll provide tactical support which includes market operations and account management support for the Government and Public Sector (GPS) market segment. You will work closely with the market segment leadership to deliver enable and deliver operational support that contribute to pipeline and revenue growth. You will also play a key role in opportunity management, management reporting and measurement of go-to-market programs and initiatives. Key performance measurements for this role include GPS market segment revenue growth, sales and pipeline management of key accounts, people engagement and teaming.
Your key responsibilities
Drive enablement activities to develop and execute the Asean GPS market segment execution plan:
Responsible for the operations, enablement and deployment of go-to-market execution plans for the Asean GPS market segment
Review and distribute timely financial performance and pipeline analysis information, including communication of key trends, opportunities and action plans
Understand and analyse management reports, ensure data integrity and provide regular status communications
Support the strategic planning process for the GPS market segment, including initiatives to achieve market leadership plan
Manage the execution of firm-wide business development programs within the GPS market segment, including sales campaigns, growth platforms and other prioritized initiatives
Leverage the global EY network to connect EY account teams to the right insights and thought leadership
Execute EY’s Account Management Framework across the Asean GPS market segment
Monitor procurement portals daily, including Gebiz and other relevant portals, and support the assignment and submissions of proposals
Support the sales cadence processes for the market segment, including identifying activities to enhance pipeline and revenue growth
Track and provide weekly updates on opportunities pursued
Support key account reviews process, research on client’s organisation intelligence and competitive landscape
Develop market analysis and market intelligence to support account management and planning sessions with account teams
Pursuits and opportunity management
Provide ad-hoc pursuit support for identified opportunities
Collaborate with regional and offshore teams on strategic pursuits to develop winning proposals
Skills and attributes for success
Knowledgeable of the Government and public sector and industry dynamics and passionate in Government and current affairs,
Strong advocate of the firm’s account management framework and opportunity tools and processes
Conversant in management reporting and great with interpersonal, presentation and writing skills.
Ability to review reports, interpret data and identify trends that will assist in further targeting appropriate go-to-market activities that will generate pipeline
To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 2 to 4 years’ of relevant experience
Competent with the use of Microsoft Power Point, Word and Excel, including the use of Pivot tables, reporting, charts
Work independently and experienced in delivering results with regional and offshore teams
Ability to adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment
Ideally, you'll also have
Prior experience and familiarity in using business procurement portals such as Government Gebiz
Prior experience working in a consulting/professional services firm and providing consulting services for clients in the government & public sector
