Job Summary:

The Americas Learning Purpose Engagement Specialist, Supervising Associate is responsible for strategic planning and engagement across all learning stakeholders, from individual learners to firm leaders.

Strategy, communications, marketing and project management knowledge is required to develop strategic business plans, stakeholder mapping, marketing and communication deliverables to solve business problems and improve consumption of learning and experiences within the Purpose and Vision portfolio.

This position requires an individual to be able to:

  • Identify stakeholders and audiences

  • Use data to determine the current state and to inform communication and engagement strategies

  • Draft and distribute marketing and communications to stakeholder and audience groups

This position may also have responsibility for managing a portion of the learning projects and programs within the Purpose and Vision learning portfolio and larger ecosystem (i.e., managing community of engaged learners, managing learning design and development of related projects, enhancing quality of services provided, deploying new learning technology and/or processes, etc.). This position may have some resource and budget responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assesses learning stakeholders and builds plan for engagement, marketing and promotion

  • Responsible for creation and execution of project plan related to engagement, marketing and promotion, including project/program scope and schedules; plans and assigns resources to associated tasks and deliverables as appropriate; may participate in the development and management of the budget

  • Builds and implements timelines related to project deliverables, assign tasks and follow up on their completion and manage sponsor/team leader/program manager expectations of the outcomes of the deliverable

  • Writes communication/marketing collateral in support of engagement/marketing plan

  • Leads community of engaged Purpose and Vision individuals to promote Purpose and Vision within organization

  • Manages all Americas and region/SL communications around Purpose and Vision

  • Creates and develops project/program scope and schedules; plans and assigns resources to associated tasks and deliverables as appropriate; may participate in the development and management of the budget

  • Acts as a project manager for a portfolio of moderate learning projects, including new learning program design and development, learning technology/process enablement and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Develops and applies knowledge of communication, marketing, promotion in support of projects/programs

  • May manage SharePoint enhancement process, which may include development of site, automation of reporting, automation of emails from site, user experience enhancements, development of surveys in portal, webtrends/metrics/reporting and gamification

  • Understands and supports the project/program measurements, including the ability to do effective process analysis, report quality results and work with operations to drive improvements

  • Explains difficult issues and works to establish consensus; communicates issues and status reports to supervisor and/or stakeholders

  • Provides input into the allocation of resources to meet changing project/program needs.

  • Acts as a peer advisor or mentor to other team members

  • Ability to identify points of contention for missed deliverables and creates strategy to mitigate shortfalls in the timeline that missed or unexpected deliverables may create

  • Understands the firm’s business, organizational structure and operations

  • Makes/presents recommendations to mid to high level management on solutions and influences decisions

  • Manages own portfolio of work; delegates tasks, as needed

To qualify, candidates must have :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5-7 years of progressive work experience

  • In-depth experience and knowledge of project management practices and tools

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Ability to assert own ideas and influence others to gain support and commitment for shared projects

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

  • Knowledge of optimal learning collaboration tool usage/technology tool support (e.g.,

  • Adobe, ThinkTank, Zoom, WebEx) or technology development and deployment experience

  • Developing knowledge of change management principles

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Strong analytical skills to grasp complexities and perceive relationships among problems and issues

  • Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities

  • Working hours, flexible work arrangements and time off may be limited during specific times or deadlines

  • Travel may be required pending business and project needs

  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate multiple time zones as needed

  • Overtime, as needed to meet deadlines

The salary range for this position in Stamford is $85,100 to $135,900

The salary range for this position in Greenwich is $85,100 to $135,900

The salary range for this position in Hartford is $70,900 to $113,300

The salary range for this position in Denver is $70,900 to $113,300

The salary range for this position in Las Vegas is $70,900 to $113,300
