The opportunity

Your key responsibilities
You’ll likely spend much of your time supporting client consultations and challenging the unclaimed property recovery approach for optimal effectiveness and execution. This will involve reviewing potential assets for recovery, assisting in the compilation of claim packages and submission of claim packages, following up with governmental sources, and drafting client correspondence. We’ll look to you to develop strong relationships with our clients and government jurisdictions, and team effectively with internal resources. To make that happen, we’ll look to you to gain and implement your knowledge of unclaimed property recovery concepts and requirements. You can expect to be working in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is an essential part of the role.

Demonstrate an understanding of client’s corporate structure and ability to recover unclaimed funds belonging to them
Consistently produce high-quality, professional deliverables on schedule and budget
Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals
To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelors degree and at least 3 years of work experience in financial services
Excellent organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
Ability to obtain CPA certification, CAPP, Member of the US Bar or professional designation from the IPT
Technical experience related to abandoned and unclaimed property services is beneficial but not required
Performance and process advisory experience related to unclaimed property compliance
