The Global Rotation Tool (GRT) is a new tool used to track Assurance executive rotation on client engagements based on the firm’s Independence policies for regulatory rotation (RR) and long association (LA). The GRT will replace all legacy partner rotation tools (PROT – Lotus Notes tool used in the US) and will include LA service periods which were previously not formally tracked. The GRT team is a new function within Professional Practice, that will be responsible for maintaining GRT through updates from GIS, GFIS/Mercury and engagement team members to enable monitoring of compliance with the Partner rotation regulations and policies. The GRT team’s key clients are the engagement team members and Assurance leadership.
As a GRT Senior Associate, you will assist in maintaining the information in the GRT and make sure that the Partner rotation and LA policies are being appropriately applied in the US. You will work with all members of the GRT team and interact with Engagement team members, Independence and Global IT. Some interaction with the non-US Americas GRT administrators may also be needed. You may also participate in planning, executing and deployment of certain GRT processes.
Your key responsibilities
Work in the GRT database and Excel on a daily basis
Research entity information needed to update GRT (expectation is to become knowledgeable of the GIS restrictions and the impact on the GRT)
Research client information to update GRT, as needed
Create and update entity records in the GRT and identify unusual issues for follow-up and potential consultation
Contact engagement team members, mostly PICs regarding validating data in the GRT engagement records to make sure responses are received timely and any changes to the GRT or GIS are made timely
Manages medium impact projects within the GRT processes that require the ability to create and implement timelines related to project deliverables, contact engagement team members, as necessary, and provide updates to the GRT Americas Administrator of the outcome and potential next steps.
Gain an understanding of the firm’s policies and the team’s processes and make recommendations for improvements, accordingly, including changes to GRT functionality
Interact with the GRT SMRs, Global IT and country administrators
Run reports from GRT and Power BI to identify potential breaches and follow up with engagement teams as needed. Also, summarize results and follow up with supervisors
Update SQC documentation and summarize results of SQC monthly/quarterly procedures.
Coordinate, review, and follow-up with AQM/GDS personnel who are doing data entry and/or monitoring procedures
Create and maintain project/program documentation (reporting, meeting minutes, status updates, etc.). May create project plans and timelines to manage project/program components and deliverables.
Respond to needs of managers, sponsors, and stakeholders, escalating to supervisor/sponsor as appropriate. Identifies alternative solutions to situations.
Provide recommendations regarding process and support for changes in GRT business processes, GRT technologies, which includes deployment support and interacting with various IT groups to resolve issues
Applies process and technology enablement knowledge to analyses and problem solve with moderate complexity.
Uses analysis to identify potential issues and offer solutions
Escalates complex issues with recommendations to project sponsors and/or team leader

Awareness of Partner approval policy (expectation is to be knowledgeable of the basic policy requirements to understand the updates needed to GRT for changes in partner assignments)
Understands the firm’s business, organizational structure, and operations, with specific emphasis on the Assurance practice
Ability to work effectively in and lead small teams, mostly AQS/GDS.
Ability to manage, prioritize and meet deadlines
To quality, you must have
2-4 years of relevant experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills to grasp complexities and perceive relations among problems and issues
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong working knowledge with Excel including creating PIVOT tables as well as utilizing functions such as V-look-up, X-look-up, CONCAT, etc.
Experience using Power BI (can be learned)

Denver Salary Range - 66,500 to 104,700
Hartford Salary Range - 66,500 to 104,700
Las Vegas Salary Range - 66,500 to 104,700
Stamford Salary Range - 78,600 to 125,600
