Your key responsibilities
Everything you’ll do will come back to providing exceptional audit activities for our clients. Colleagues and clients from the Financial Services industry will look to you first for answers, so you’ll be a high-profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you’ll become a credible advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries.
Skills and attributes for success
Support our delivery of financial statement audits and work with other service lines and technical experts to deliver client solutions.
Participate in special projects such as transactions and detailed analyses of client operations as required.
Build valuable relationships with clients and develop strong technical capabilities, through formal training as well as working with senior mentors and talented colleagues.
Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
Use industry knowledge to provide ideas and solutions to clients and potential clients
Identify key risk areas within client organisation and evaluate the client’s responses to managing these risks.
Oversee a team throughout an audit engagement to ensure the audit is executed effectively and meets all key milestones.
To qualify for the role you must have:
Relevant qualifications (or equivalent experience), and 1 + years relevant post qualification experience
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a dynamic, team environment
Confident and credible communicator who displays both technical knowledge and commercial understanding
Manages projects effectively such that engagements are completed on time, on budget and at the quality expected by the client and management
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Project management skills and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
