The opportunity

The Associate Director - Market Segment Delivery Center Leader holds responsibility for strategic and operational planning and management of all aspects, including staff and clients for Market Segment Enablement Delivery Center. Working with the Leadership team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of strategy, best practices and global policies and ensures smooth functioning of the end to end delivery model.

Your key responsibilities

  • Strategize and plan operational strategies and long-term plans towards operational excellence

  • Maintain process rigor among the ES (Enablement Service) and CS (Client Service) functions which are part of the Delivery Center to ensure the smooth functioning of end to end delivery model

  • Maintain high level visibility and influence on support delivered from the various GDS functions across the Delivery Center

  • Be the SPOC for the Global Market Segment Leadership and Area Activation Leadership for the support from the Delivery Center

  • Champion the Market Segment Enablement framework and guide the Delivery Center participants by creating a community/network

  • Nurture leading practices and disseminate them across the Delivery Center as well as with the Global Market Segment Enablement Leadership

  • Drive innovation, automation and process streamlining

  • Own the KPIs and SLAs for the Market Segment Enablement Delivery Center

  • Resolve service delivery escalations that could not be resolved at the region level

  • Develop, maintain and promote positive relationships and engagement with key stakeholders

  • Liaison with GDS SPOCs across functions to plan capacity for the overall Delivery Center

  • Responsible for performance reviews for the Region Managers and the extended team – Market Segment Enablers

  • Ensure consistent talent management across all GDS locations – consistent job descriptions, recruitment process, onboarding etc.

  • Attrition management by driving the right kind of work culture and engagement with employees

  • Motivate and inspire others to achieve individual and organizational objectives through highly visible and effective personal interventions

  • Develop and maintain a productive work team via training and succession planning and consistently promote a strong corporate culture, quality and high-performance work teams

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience in business development with specialization in Account Management

  • Adept in managing large teams across the globe

  • Strategic thinking; ability to connect, identify less obvious opportunities, create impact without explicit direction

  • Ability to work independently, to take ownership, to operate in an unpredictable and dynamic working environment

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills at all levels within the organization

  • Solutions-focused with innovative ideation skills

  • Global mindset, cultural agility, versatile working style

  • Post Graduate/Graduate degree

  • Approximately 12-15 years of relevant experience (i.e. Centers of Expertise, Global operating models)

  • Analytical skills experience preferable

  • Appropriate experience demonstrating above listed knowledge and skills
