The opportunity

We’ve been strengthening our design and delivery teams to broaden the scope of learning as well as the rate in which we produce critical courses to key audiences within our organization. Our Learning Solutions Architect, Associate Director acts as a Strategic consultant, collaborating with Service Lines (SL), Americas Learning Leaders and stakeholders to create business cases and high-level blueprints for learning solutions.

Your key responsibilities

As a Learning Solution Architect, you will work within some main categories to include: Learning Strategy and Business Planning, Defining Business Requirements, Learning Project/Program Blueprint Development, Relationship Management, Change Management and Professional Development. You will develop roadmaps, create comprehensive and scalable plans, establish cost benefit and benchmark competitors and external thought leaders for new ideas. Collaborate, develop and maintain relationships with internal clients, helping to translate business requirements into potential learning will be key while simultaneously driving the adoption of common learning content design and methodologies across the matrix of stakeholders to avoid redundancy. You will lead the development of learning delivery models and provide innovative ideas and advice to clients regarding learning methods, modalities, audiences and content that supports their business requirements. Travel may be required pending business and project needs, so flexible schedules and overtime might be needed to accommodate deadlines.

Skills and attributes for success

You will represent Americas Learning externally by sustaining a network of relationships with leading learning providers and continually build internal networks across business units to leverage firm knowledge. As Learning Solutions Architect, you will work to identify and document key learning requirements, business needs and methods for specific target audiences as well as classify possible organizational opportunities and limitations. You will supervise team and cross teams while maximizing performance of all team members through a collaborative and shared responsibility environment. You will need to be comfortable working independently in a virtual team yet highly collaborative environment.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Strong consulting and advisory skills and experience collaborating with key stakeholders

  • Highly analytical background to include conceptual thinking to help simplify information and recommendations as well as design thinking to assist with creative and innovative strategies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to deal with ambiguity, establish consensus and explain and solve complex issues with clients

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other technical learning applications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent work experience

  • 15+ years of professional experience in design and development pertaining to a broad portfolio of learning solutions to include blending learning, classroom simulations, digital and workplace learning.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in a professional service or shared services environment

  • Management experience within a learning environment
