We are seeking a highly motivated, confident individual to join our IT – Audio Visual Services group as an Audio Visual Co-ordinator:

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and tests Audio Visual systems for critical meetings and meets with instructors and/or speakers before the meetings to provide advice and support.

  • Ensureshigh level of customer service is maintained.

  • Serves as a technical resource within the local office and across the firm.

  • Provides support for in-house Video Conferencing services

  • Produces live and on-demand webcasts

  • May train new employees on Audio Visual equipment usage.

  • Troubleshoots difficult problems with Audio Visual equipment, ensuring their resolution.

  • Develop and maintain external vendor relationships.

  • Other duties to be discussed as required.

  • Some travel may be required.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • 3-5 years Audio Visual experience

  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high level of customer service.

  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of webcasting/live stream technology

  • Working knowledge of Audio Visual system setup; integrated and temporary

  • Working knowledge of IP based video conferencing systems.

  • Fundamental knowledge of videoconferencing infrastructures an excellent asset.

  • MS Office knowledge.

  • Understanding of HTML and Web Design an asset.

  • Excellent planning, analytical and organization skills

  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high level of customer service.

  • Ability to present ideas in a highly organized manner

  • Working knowledge of non-linear video editing systems an asset

  • Proficient camera skills in a broadcast environment an asset

  • Experience with teleprompter an asset
