We are currently looking for a Senior Manager – to focus on SAP opportunities in the Power and Utilities (P&U) sector – to join our Enterprise Applications team. This role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential. We are looking for an individual who combines anaptitude for driving sales pursuits with the experience to take on a leading role on large projects.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, your responsibilities will be fourfold: (1) drive and support business development and sales pursuits within the SAP P&U space, (2) take on a leading role on projects (in a project manager or solution architect role), (3) assist in developing methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view and thought leadership to accelerate growth and differentiate EY in the sector and (4) actively invest in and mentor team members on and off projects to create a followership and to expand our expertise and capabilities, including acting as a liaison and increasing collaboration with our offshore team. This role requires a willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated to be up to 80%.
Skills and attributes for success
Experience running SAP P&U-CIS projects in a project manager and/or solution architect capacity
Experience with the SAP P&U-CIS product suite through multiple full lifecycle implementations
Experience with the SAP P&U-CIS product suite through multiple hands-on functional roles
Experience with (leading) proposal writing and preparing and delivering orals presentations
Effectively team with diverse skills and backgrounds and foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment
Strong written and verbal client-facing communication and presentation skills; should be comfortable interacting with clients on a daily basis
An interest in staying abreast of sector and domain trends
A forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on an adapts quickly to new challenges
Ability to lead a team of consulting professionals on multiple projects
A strong work ethic
To qualify for the role you must have
A minimum of 6 years of experience working with SAP P&U-CIS products: S/4HANA ISU, C/4HANA C4C Customer Management
A bachelor's degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience at minimum or a master's degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience at minimum
Ideally, you will also have
- SAP P&U-CIS related certifications (highly preferred)
