We currently have a career opportunity for a Manager Consultant level resource in the Testing practice of our IT Advisory service line. Candidate will work directly with clients to solve their User Acceptance Testing challenges. The goal is to get our clients past the UAT milestone with confidence and get them ready for Go-Live/Production.
Guide business and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Develop UAT documentation including but not limited to
UAT Test Strategy
UAT Test Plan
Integration of UAT feedback into the agile sprint process, including within use of current tools (Jira, Rally, etc)
Management, sourcing and organization of UAT test data
Readiness Assessment of Testing environment of core application and integrations
Management of UAT Test team
Defect triaging and prioritization including optimizing fix approach and retesting
UAT entry and Exit Criteria establishment and management of change in requirement as a result of defects
Documentation test case execution, test results and defects in detail.
Communicate testing progress, issues, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders/team and management.
Ability to communicate and liaise with multiple levels of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)including SMEs, Developers, and BAs
Understanding of testing methodologies, deliverables and familiarization with the SDLC
5+ year of experience as UAT Test Manager or Test Manager with experience in formulation of UAT Strategy/Test Strategies in a complex environment with multiple vendor platforms
5+ years of Software implementation experience preferably on transformation projects
Excellent communication and team management experience with the ability to manage a team of business and non-business testers
Experience with use of Testing tools
Consulting experience will be a strong asset
Proven methodical thinking and problem solving skills. Pragmatic when needed.
Strong oral and written communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
Excellent attention to detail, balanced with the ability to make quick decisions.
A high level of motivation, strong work ethic and self-starting attitude.
Flexibility to be responsive to client and internal needs.
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50-80%.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related.
