The Knowledge Manager – Associate Director is responsible for leading the coordination and timely delivery of culture activities as set out in the team’s integrated knowledge plan and as defined by EY Knowledge’s standard knowledge management products & services. Some products and services e.g. for specific accounts or firm functions may be delivered by prior agreement on a fee for service basis. This position will consult with the Domain or Function Leader where requests for support fall outside of the globally funded remit of products and services.
EY Knowledge has developed standardized products, methodologies and templates to deliver a consistent experience to clients, to improve quality, to reduce time spent on unnecessary duplication and to create space for innovation. This position is responsible for role modeling the use of products and services from the Catalog and mentoring more junior members of the team, ensuring service execution standards and driving consistency of delivery, using agreed templates and making recommendations to improve quality, business impact and efficiency.
This position will develop an understanding of the end-to-end knowledge management value chain including content, community and culture and success will be measured by the active adoption of the agreed process and methodologies.
The Knowledge Manager – Associate Director also role models a “continuous improvement” mindset and takes the time to provide constructive challenge and feedback within the team to strengthen the impact of deliverables and to identify opportunities to innovate and enhance the standard KM products and services. Working closely with the Team Lead, this position will surface new ideas and potential best practices and may participate in transformation initiatives to innovate, automate, and improve knowledge management capabilities.
The focus for this Knowledge Manager position is on the execution of culture activities aligned to domain business priorities. This includes demonstrating service delivery consistency by using standards, methods, and enablers. The specific KM activities span designing andmanaging culture activation approaches, along with managing consistent global culture, awareness, and learning programs.
The role will also act as the GDS Argentina Location Leader for Knowledge Services (around 30% time allocation). In the GDS KS location leader role, the focus will be on managing all aspects of talent and operations for the Knowledge Services team at the location.
What are you going to do?
As a Culture Knowledge Manager:
Develop and execute successful firm-wide culture programs and global awareness activities that are aligned to the Discover suite that drive behavior change across EY
Contributes to domain culture activation programs
Ongoing management and evolution of function expertise aligned to KM strategic direction, including awareness & learning expertise
Leverages analytics to improve culture service delivery
Lead high performing team and drive consistent knowledge management service delivery aligned to KM products, services, and standards.
Champion of KM transformation programs that contribute to optimized culture activities and continuous improvement
Champion of and lead change management initiatives
Create and evolve common approaches for campaigns, events, success story collection
As a GDS KS Location Leader:
DeploysGDS strategy for the location according to plan; Owns the GDS KS business plan for the location and works closely with GDS KS Leader and roles in Knowledge T&O for execution
Works closely with the GDS KS Leader to streamline processes, and manage transition and change plans aligned to Knowledge Transformation for the location
Works closely with the local GDS leadership / teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of the local marketplace and enablers for the success of KS GDS strategy
Works closely with the KS functional leaders to understand functional priorities, their impact on the location, and create enablers / execution plans
Manages all operational aspects of KS execution for the location – Process, people, quality, and cost.
What do we need from you?
Program management and service execution rigor / discipline
Knowledge management expertise, including content practices, culture adoption & activation, and community / network management
In-depth knowledge of a domain (Sector / SL) or function (Community or Content Management)
Commercial experience (desirable)
Demonstrated experience in driving change
Ability to operate digitally and display a digital mindset
10 to 12 years of knowledge management or equivalent experience
Five to ten years or more relevant domain /function experience
Experience with key knowledge management concepts, tools and techniques (e.g. community facilitation, after action reviews) and or comparable experience
Professional service industry experience or professional services client-serving experience strongly preferred
Shift : Monday to Friday 9-6PM
