Job Summary

The Reporting & Control Specialist for Cyber Defense Process and Methodology in Information Security is responsible for a high level of maintenance and support for EY’s global compliance services and conducts compliance reporting analysis in accordance with Information Security policies. The role is accountable to and maintains a relationship with supporting stakeholders, service owners, application owners, business leaders, and technical repository owners or shared IT database owners to provide a review of report findings and to highlight areas of concern or noted variances to established compliance policies. The role ascertains the viability of current processes and procedures against those compliance mandates and recommends best practices and areas for improvement in their automation processes to drive down security related noncompliance as well as improve tracking of remediation efforts. The role additionally recommends and drives remediation activities in identified incidents/events of noncompliance. The role is an individual contributor and is managed by the Cyber Defense Process and Methodology Specialist Reporting & Control Team Lead

What are you going to do?

  • This role will be tasked with leading and coordinating between teams. As such, the individual must have experience in the area of people management.

  • Works independently with little oversight from the Cyber Reporting Lead.

  • Responsible for maintaining training and development of their skillset and maintain state of the knowledge in their area of responsibility, as it relates to output obtained from exercises.

  • Assists other team members, directly or indirectly, in the development, implementation and support of automated cyber tools and applications to meet the growing business requirements of cyber defense.

  • Must be flexible and willing to work overtime, if required, as cyber defense is a 7x24x365


  • Cyber exercise experience

  • Auditing experience

  • Risk assessment experience

  • Continuity experience

  • Exercise control lead and facilitator of red team, and overall senior coordinator experience

  • Network and/or system background, understand attack vectors

  • Knowledge of information security technologies

  • Strong research skills, and have written, and published exercise, or process documents for Information Security, Cyber Defense

  • Excellent team skills and integrity in a professional environment

  • Excellent social, communication and technical writing skills Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment

  • Knowledgeable in legal issues within information security environments (i.e., data privacy)

  • Knowledge of IT Service Management ITIL

  • Knowledge of Tibco Spotfire Analytics tool

Shift : Monday to Friday 9-6PM
