EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:
Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.
Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) – EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.
Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.
Identity & Access Management – Infosec
Identity and access management provides generally services globally to all countries. Identity and access management (IAM) is the process used in businesses and organizations to grant or deny employees and others authorization to secure systems. IAM is an integration of workflow systems that involves organizational think tanks who analyze and make security systems work effectively. Policies, procedures, protocols and processes are all linked to IAM. Identity and security applications are also important considerations. IAM verifies user access requests and either grants or denies permission to protected company materials. It also deals with various administrative functions including password problems and helps oversees employee identity management. Standards and applications of IAM include the maintenance of user life cycles, various application accesses and singular logons.
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist develops, implements, and manages secure user account and access administration processes in accordance with Information Security policies and procedures. This individual coordinate operational activities and provides advanced user account and access management support and consultation. The role maintains proper adherence to the terms of the Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) as well as the specific directives guiding an end user’s security clearance. Anticipates technology support related to digital identities, access control and associated technology issues and drives improvements. Coordinates operational activities of their region-based team, provides advanced operational support, consultation and follow-up on the services in scope for the function aligned to, responds to customer inquiries, and works with other Regional Leads to coordinate activities globally, acts as a liaison between the team and the Functional Global Lead. This position is regional in scope, managing activities of a team that provides global services to all EY member countries.
Your key responsibilities
Acts as team primary escalation point for difficult problems and complex inquiries.
Mentors and helps train support staff.
Leads activities and initiatives related to Identity and Access Management.
Foster inclusiveness and participation from all team members.
Apply analytical and problem-solving abilities to review complex and conflicting IAM issues
Complete proper root cause analysis to identify, confirm and address recurring incidents/problems to improve IAM processes or prevent future occurrence of end user access issues
Recommend and implement solutions based on customer requests and leadership direction
Maintain a strong knowledge of Active Directory, SailPoint and Microsoft Identity Manager technologies related to user or group provisioning and identity life cycle management.
Leverage understanding of core business service lines and operating environment within EY to provide advanced level analyses, support reporting needs or to identify IAM improvement opportunities in areas such as automation or inconsistent global policies.

Advanced knowledge of EY’s desktop environment (PC applications, standard software, mobile devices, Telephony, network, servers and general connectivity) as well as security access functions.
Advanced knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory (Windows 2008/2012 Directory Services), SailPoint, Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), RSA and other multifactor authentication technologies be added advantage. Technologies related to user/group provisioning to effectively provide for core user identity management.
Basic knowledge on Azure AD, Forefront Identity Management (FIM) / Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), SAML, web Single Sign-on (SSO) will be an added advantage.
Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language to work effectively with end users and IT peers.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Any professional certifications like ITIL, MCITP will be an added advantage.
Approximately 5-10 years of security administration experience in support of IT products or security administration and working knowledge of large IT organization operations.
2 years prior supervisory experience.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Ability to effectively work with customers and management personnel on all levels, business areas and across cultures.
Knowledge of latest trends in information security, procedures, methodologies, and best practices will be added advantage.
High level of process and procedure expertise and support for risk assessments.
