The opportunity

We are interested in speaking with Audit professionals at the Associate and Senior Associate level to join our Assurance teams, for any future opportunities we may have across our offices in Australia.This role is offered on a flexible full-time basis. You’ll help our clients meet their reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. Your key responsibilities

  • Leading fieldwork, managing performance,coaching and mentoring more junior team members and keeping engagement leadersupdated on audit engagements

  • Effectively managing Audit processes withappropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technicalmatters, including revenue, financial instruments and income taxes

  • Engaging clients and providing advice andprofessionalism throughout transactions, including identification of areas forimprovement in clients’ business processes

  • Constantly developing your understanding ofcurrent market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to developjunior colleagues

  • Understanding our clients’ unique ambitionsand needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broadenour business relationships where possible

  • Expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) andin related financial reporting matters

Skills and attributes for success

  • Proven experience in delivering external auditand assurance engagements

  • Experience leading the planning, execution andreporting on audits

  • Proven track record with developing andmaintaining client relationships

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skillsand a collaborative approach to management

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) andin related financial reporting matters.

  • A strong academic record, including a degreeand progress towards/completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA, ACCA)
