Our Operations & Business Services team at EY Consulting is committed to support our local and global clients in transforming their organizations. To accompany their growth, we are looking for an experienced finance professional from the business services sector.

Our clients are business services centres of different sizes, industries and functions as well as local clients exploring and deploying GBS solutions. We guide them through all aspects of their transformation journey, from the functional and organizational design, to migration and optimization of processes (digitalization, automation, process mining).

We welcome applications from driven finance professionals with experience in transition of processes and a practical understanding of the SSC environment.

Your key responsibilities

  • Analyse client requirements and needs and actively participate in the design of tailored solutions and individual project plans

  • Support large transformation / transition programs as a core team member

  • Take on various project roles from project management to functional subject-matter expert roles

  • Manage migration of various business processes, mostly related to Finance & Accounting

  • Participate in and coordinate client workshops and events

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients

  • Support process optimization initiatives

  • Support with project administration


  • 4-5 years working experience at a Shared Service Centre/Centre of Excellence/BPO

  • Practical knowledge of financial processes within an SSC (preferably in GL/Controlling/FP&A)

  • Transition management experience

  • Experience with internal process improvement initiatives

  • Analytical skills and strong computer literacy – advanced usage of MS Office and MS Project and several ERP systems (SAP knowledge is advantage)

  • Project management skills and capability to produce clear and concise deliverables that flow logically and are appropriate to the audience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a team player and a client focused and entrepreneurial mindset

  • Master’s degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting or similar advantage

  • Fluent in English and Czech

Candidates with the below experience will have a strong advantage:

  • Order To Cash experience

  • German working proficiency

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies

  • Experience with Automation projects

  • Experience with Process Mining

  • Team Leader / people management experience
