Are you interested in IT audit as part of the financial audits? The increasing reliance on IT and the need for IT risk management in today’s business play a crucial role in the financial audits. We are now developing and growing our IT audit team delivering modern IT audit in today’s digitalized world. Would you like to be a part of the growth of our team?
As an IT audit manager, you collaborate with other members of the engagement teams to plan the engagements and develop work program timelines and other planning documents. You work with the engagement teams to familiarize yourselves with the client’s key IT processes, IT risks and controls and document the business processes dependent on IT. You serve as a fieldwork leader by directing the daily progress of fieldwork, informing stakeholders of engagement status, and managing staff performance e.g. by reviewing work products of your team. In your daily work, you demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems. You use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations.
In your work, you demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services. You will be responsible that the work delivered to clients is of high quality.
Skills and attributes for success
Bachelors or master's degree in a suitable field (e.g. information systems, accounting, finance, computer science)
Relevant work experience and interest in IT audit
Project management skills
Leadership, teamwork and client service skills
A customer oriented attitude, strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
The ability to adapt to new challenges as a true team player
Passion for learning and development
Excellent skills in Finnish and English, other language skills are considered an asset
