The opportunity

EY’s Financial Services Organisation (FSO) in Helsinki is experiencing strong growth in the risk consulting area. We are now looking for experienced professionals who have a background in the banking sector and credit risk. You also have knowledge of quantitative methods such as risk modelling. We are looking for various profiles: you could join us as a Senior Consultant with around 3-5 years of work experience in relevant field, or as a Manager, with around 5-10 years of work experience.

You will be part of our local team and work closely together with our wide network of Nordic and European professionals in the same field. We work with demanding consulting projects with clients in the banking, as well as insurance and wealth management sector.

Your key responsibilities

You will work in complex client projects with our teams of professionals and take ownership ofdelivering high quality solutions to our clients. Projects will vary depending on our clients’ focus and strategy. You will take active role in keeping your knowledge and expertise updated on the latest developments and solutions.

If you join us as a Manager, your role will include managing the team and coordinating and participating in the work. You will take care of client relationships with your selected stakeholders, take active role in sales. An important part of your role will be coaching your colleagues, as well as acting in a Counselor role to younger consultants and supporting them in their development and career path.

Ifyou join us as a Senior Consultant , you will work with the team and proactively and independently lead your tasks and guide younger colleagues. Your role would include for example performing quantitative and qualitative analyses, facilitating meetings and workshops, and presenting results to clients’ senior management. As your skills develop, we are not afraid to give you more challenging tasks, to keep you learning and growing your professional skills every day.

To qualify for the role, youmust have

  • Work experience in the fieldof credit risk and quantitative methods or modelling

  • Fluent skills in English

Ideally,you’ll also have

  • Hands-on experience fromstatistical modelling or data analytics

  • Fluent skills in Finnish(other language skills are considered an asset)
