Working collaboratively, you will have the insight and creative flair to develop and implement impactful and engaging communications that support transformation programme objectives. You will collaborate to develop comms & engagement plans & then be responsible for leading the execution of those plans. You will be able to apply some strategic thinking and adapt plans according to audience insights and an understanding of the bigger transformation picture. You will have a firm understanding and experience of delivery across a range of channels. Principal channels include calls, webcasts, email, face-to-face events, vlogs, news stories, SharePoint, print and digital design, posters, plasmas and Yammer. We also use a variety of one-off media as required.
Your key responsibilities
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Provide credible advice on engagement initiatives and communications material that support and are aligned within the transformation programme’s objectives.
Work with Change Managers and business stakeholders to create the relevant engagement & communications plans. This will include options for audience engagement (channels, methods, content)
Produce comms activity planners that can be tracked - and feed these into wider Programme plans
Create and deliver communications that engage the audience using a range of innovative channels where possible – but at the least leveraging proven channels relevant for the business area.
Have the supporting skills that enable delivery: writing, creativity, collateral production, planning and organisation.
Manage internal and external suppliers as required to deliver channel content
Delivery of communications plans for designated change projects – this is subject to change and may flex according to the needs of the business.
Collaborating with and coaching other team members in the programme comms team to develop and deliver plans
Skills and attributes for success
Proven track record of success in communications & engagement
Experience of building strong relationships
Experience of creating and executing communication strategies that support business objectives
Knowledge and experience across the range of internal communications channels. Enthusiasm to create innovative solutions and look for new ways of engaging.
Willingness and enthusiasm to operate as a team player
Experience of working in EY and understanding of the model, the region and a proven network within the firm is an advantage, but not essential.
To qualify for the role you must have
- 3+ years communications & engagement experience minimum
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Excellent writing capabilities, project management and organisation skills
