Objectives:

The account co-ordinator acts as an administrative support to senior management on key accounts reducing clerical burden allowing management teams to focus on technical aspects of their role. You will take a leading role in the key areas of resourcing, planning, monitoring engagement progress, budget management and acting as a key client liaison for non-technical matters.

Responsibilities:

§ Co-ordinating the planning process for key client engagements with particular reference to EY client acceptance/continuance processes, engagement agreements etc.

§ Assist in resource allocation, budget creation and ongoing monitoring

§ Ensure job and staff scheduling up-to-date on Retain

§ Plan and book staff on timely basis for main audit and ad-hoc projects; coordinate ad-hoc resourcing requirements (clash identification and resolution etc)

§ Work closely with FMA ( Financial Management Associate ) on all working capital elements of the account

§ Liaise closely with key account stakeholders (internal and external) on an ongoing basis

§ Schedule and manage meeting schedule (internal and external), take minutes and monitor/follow up actions as appropriate

§ Coordinate deliverables for:

a. audit committee presentations

b. monthly progress update calls

c. BlackRock bi-monthly technical updates

§ Maintain manager to partner review schedule, booking time as applicable

§ Monitor engagement progress in line with agreed timetable identifying potential issues/delays and communicating with the relevant part(ies) on such delays

§ Seen by client as central contact for non-technical account management queries

§ Maintain trackers to ensure deadlines are not missed (e.g. statutory deadlines, archiving)

§ Regular and accurate monitoring of Estimate to Complete (ETC) information

§ Billing schedule creation, action and issuance. Assist where required on credit control for engaged account

§ As this is an evolving role, additional ad hoc duties will also apply and the above list is not exhaustive.

Requirements:

§ Degree qualified preferred though not essential

§ Preferred experience in a professional services environment

§ Proven experience of project coordination. Planning, managing and prioritising work and complete projects on an accurate and timely basis

§ High level of competency in MS Office suite. In particular a strong knowledge in excel is required

§ Proven experience of pro-actively managing upwards to ensure that project deliverables meet the agreed timetable

§ Strong customer service focus and ability to anticipate team / client requirements

§ Strong numerical, analytical and attention to detail skills

§ Proven experience of delivering owning and delivering projects on own initiative

§ As this is a client-facing role a professional and flexible approach is required
