In Ireland, we are expanding our Advisory practice and are seeking to recruit high achieving individuals to be part of our growing business. Currently we are recruiting at Senior Consultant and Manager levels for our Finance Transformation team.
Our Finance Transformation team delivers globally integrated Finance service offerings to our clients, including:
Finance OperatingModel Transformation
BusinessPerformance Management (BPM) including Planning, Budgeting andForecasting; and Management Reporting
FinanceTransformation enabled by technology – i.e. ERP, BPM, RPA, BusinessIntelligence, Data Analytics, Blockchain and AI
Working in our Finance Transformation practice, you will:
Work as part of aclient engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Foster aninnovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
Deliverhigh-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.Foster relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are keptinformed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations ofclient service delivery.
Cultivate andmanage business development opportunities. Understand EY and its servicelines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop andmaintain long-term client relationships and networks.
Contribute to PIFinance practice development specifically in the areas of operations,thought leadership, marketing activities and training
Demonstratein-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrateability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge. Possess good businessacumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilitiesand industry knowledge.
Skills and attributesfor success
At least 5 years ofexperience delivering change in a Finance function environment –gainedeither from prior experience in consulting or through a track record ofdelivering change/transformation projects in industry
Strong academicrecord including a third level degree, preferably in a finance/accounting,business or project related area
ACA/CIMA and/orPMP/Prince2 qualification an advantage
Process improvementexperience in one or two of the following areas:
Transactionalprocessing: Order to Cash; Procure to Pay; Record to Report
Financial planningand analysis: Budgeting & Planning, and Reporting)
To qualify for the roleyou must have
Experiencedelivering business change in one or more of the following areas would beexpected:
Enterprise ResourcePlanning (ERP) implementations including active participation in planning,business case, and design phases – as a subject matter expert in the areaof finance and accounting
BusinessPerformance Management (BPM) implementations including activeparticipation in planning, business case, and design phases – as a subjectmatter expert in the area of financial planning and analysis
Programme/projectmanagement for large scale business transformation
Reportingtransformation using Business Intelligence, data analytics andvisualisation tools
Ideally, you’ll alsohave
Ability to workcollaboratively in a team environment and manage a team of juniorconsulting professionals
Characteristics ofa forward thinker and self-motivator that thrives on new challenges andadapts quickly to learning new knowledge
Strong analyticaland problem-solving skills
Understanding offinance and accounting technology landscape and packages and key trends inthis space
Knowledge of one ormore of the following packages - SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Business Planning andConsolidation, Oracle ERP, Oracle Hyperion Planning, Anaplan, Tableau, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere – is required
Preferred industryexperience include Life Sciences, Utilities, Public Sector, and ConsumerBusiness
Excellent oral andwritten communication skills
