We are seeking an experienced L&D/organisation development professional to lead our growing Talent Development Function for a maternity leave cover commencing in March/April 2018. You will work closely with our business leaders and their teams to ensure we are developing an extraordinary place for individuals to create their future and have a challenging and rewarding career with EY. Reporting to the HR Director, you will play a key role in driving our Talent Development and HR Strategy in building out our talent pipeline and developing our future leadership capability.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate where they have clearly made a difference and have lots of examples of the successful application of creative development solutions in a high-achievement environment. Evidence of pushing boundaries, fresh thinking, and high energy will be fundamental as we strive to deliver our business plan across multiple locations with regional teams in Belfast, Cork, Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Waterford.

Your key responsibilities will include;

  • Leading the Talent Development Team to deliver on our L&D agenda

  • Developing and implementing appropriate Learning and Development interventions to support our growth ambitions

  • Acting as an L&D subject matter expert to the business leaders providing guidance and coaching on key development issues

  • Proactively driving strategic change initiatives that positively impact business results

  • Developing strong relationships with Talent Development colleagues at regional and EMEIA level and across the broader EY HR community to leverage capacity, capability and content, as appropriate

  • Leading and facilitating face-to-face development activities one-to-one and in learning groups and ensuring the highest standards of facilitation across our learning offerings

  • Supporting our drive to be an inclusive employer valuing diversity and difference

What you need to demonstrate;

  • Successful achievement of professional qualifications and/or education to third level degree in L&D, Organisational Psychology, HR or Organisation Development; Coaching qualification desirable but not essential

  • Several years ‘ experience as an L&D/Talent Leader working with senior management teams bringing about considerable behavioural change that has resulted in improved business performance

  • Proven ability to manage a team of other talented professionals, crafting stretch opportunities to accelerate their own personal learning and development

  • The ability to move from strategy to execution and deliver tangible results

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

  • Broad knowledge of HR to ensure our L&D model is part of an integrated service offering

  • Evidence of applying current and best practice frameworks when thinking about developing our people at every level

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to create appropriate measures to consistently and clearly make the connection between L&D investment and business results
