As a Transaction Advisory Services professional, you'll work with the world’s largest organisations, fastest-growing companies and private equity firms on some of the biggest and most complex cross-border engagements in the global market.
In Ireland, you will join a growing team of 130 plus professionals. You'll help those clients to make better and more informed decisions about how they manage capital and transactions in a changing world. That means advising businesses on how they preserve, optimise, raise and invest their capital to help them achieve their strategic objectives.

What will my role entail?
As a TAS Executive, you'll make a contribution to market leading transactions while supporting our clients in delivering on their key strategic objectives.
Working under the supervision of Managers, Senior Managers, Directors or Partners within TAS as well as other Ernst & Young departments in both Ireland and internationally on formal insolvencies, informal business reviews and a range of other assignments.
Working effectively as a team member by sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior members on progress.
Understanding our client requirements, co-developing our approach with the client, and providing value to our clients through insights, factual conclusions and advice.
Gathering, verifying and analysing information to formulate views, while ensuring significant attention to detail
Day to day progression of assignments to include; planning, preparing and reviewing various forms of deliverables to include reports and presentations.
A focus on anticipating and identifying risks that require escalation and subsequently escalating these risks to more senior staff as appropriate.
Working closely with colleagues you will ensure that work is properly executed, documented and concluded in compliance with our Quality & Risk Management guidelines.
Actively establishing, maintaining and strengthening your internal and external relationships.
As an influential member of the team, you will help to create a positive learning culture. You will be responsible for mentoring and developing more junior members of staff and providing constructive feedback on both a formal and informal basis.
Maintaining and constantly upgrading technical knowledge and personal skills
What will my daily activities be?
Analysing and segmenting data to inform strategic decisions
Managing and leading junior members of a team to deliver to tight deadlines
Daily reporting and tracking against key targets and goals
Daily interaction with key client shareholders
Accountable for the delivery of key targets
Detailed review of key data based on instruction provided by central team
Effectively communicating in a timely manner any issues and risks that arise.
What do we look for?
Requirements for prospective candidates include:
Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
High level of commercial acumen, and an awareness of the key drivers of business performance
Ability to identify key issues on assignments and suggest workable solutions.
Experience in presenting findings clearly in reports and other deliverables to clients.
Part-qualified with ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
Strong commercial experience and/or relevant restructuring experience
Excellent communicator, both oral and written
Strong IT skills, to an advanced level in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Project management skills
Effective time management
Ability to keep calm when under pressure to meet deadlines
Team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels but also able to work effectively on your own using your own initiative and judgement as required
