About the job
As a Business Analyst within the IT/IS & SAP Advisory team, you will assist industry, private & public sector clients to transform their business challenges into technology solutions. The goal is to support our clients to become more effective and efficient and, where required, provide services in connection with the development and implementation of technology solutions.
You will perform analysis of specific business requirements for alignment with technology architecture, technology infrastructure design, and vendor selection assistance. Further you will guide clients in the development of detailed functional test scenarios that will be used to validate acceptable functional behaviour of the system.
First and foremost you will have to be team oriented. We are a small cohesive team and we’re looking to work with someone who excels as a team player, and not a lone wolf. You also need to be good in handling your contacts, kind but determined at the same time, and understanding the importance of good professional relationships, both internally and externally.
You have previously worked as a business analyst for IT projects. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic and agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. You must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects on-time, within scope and within budget.
We will help you to increase your performance through internal and external training opportunities (project management tools, BPM tools, SAP certifications, etc.).
You will also have the challenge to learn and be exposed to the new SAP S/4HANA suite.
To qualify for the roleyou must have/be
Minimum 5 years of work experience, from which 3years of experience as a consultant, IT project manager and business analyst
Provenexperience in analysing, modelling and documenting business requirements. Thisincludes but is not limited to the following:
Elicitation and confirmation of functional andnon-functional requirements
Business process modelling, data/class modelling andother business analysis modelling techniques
Analysis and documentation of current processes
Identifying and documenting use cases (scenarios)representing users’ workflows and tasks
Assisting with the development of business cases, projectcharters and project plans ability to guide clients in the definition ofbusiness requirements, functional design
Performingbusiness analysis activities during all phases of the system developmentlifecycle including, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation
Developmentof detailed functional test scenarios that will be used to validate acceptablefunctional behaviour of the system
Business process minded, experienced with severalusages of BPM approach (IT, risks, etc.)
Mastery of different project managementmethodologies (waterfall (e.g. PRINCE2, HERMES) and agile (e.g. Scrum))
Developmentengagement leadership experience including: managing staff, providing regularstatus updates, and monitoring project economics
Solid organisational skills including attention todetail and multi-tasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent client-facing and internal communicationskills, including strong experience in issue and conflict resolution
Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate and developstaff
Aligned with expectations from a Big 4
Fluent in English. French and or German would bepreferable with any other language being an advantage
Ideally, you’ll also have
Proven experience in documenting IT architecturesand in data flow mapping
PRINCE2/ITIL/PMP/Scrum Master Certification
Mastery of different BPM tools, such as ARIS
Masteryof different project management tools
SAP experience (as a project manager, businessanalyst or developer)
