EY Luxembourg's Financial Services Extended Assurance team works with clients to provide assurance that an organisation's business activities are operating effectively in addressing its goals and challenges. About the job
You will perform internal audit missions for our Asset Management, Banking and Insurance clients. Your involvement will greatly extend from initial risk assessment through the actual fieldwork and delivery of the internal audit to final clearance and reporting to client.
You will be responsible of ensuring the overall quality of work performed and in charge of helping/coaching other team members fully grow their potential.
You are ready and excited to support Managers and Partners in their business development activities.

You will be both working from the office and client site, requiring some occasional international travel.

To qualify the role you must have
AMaster degree or equivalent in Business administration, economics, finance or engineering.
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience with a focus on the financial services industry.
A sound knowledge of accounting principles.
An excellent command of MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint)
Written and spoken professional fluency in English. Any other languages such a French or German would be considered as an asset.
Ideally, you will also have
Some experience either in a control/operational function in the industry (IFM, AIFM, depositary, PSF, bank, insurance company) or in delivering process and controls and/or regulatory type of assignments as a consultant or as an auditor.
Knowledge of the asset management, alternative assets (PE, RE, HF, Debt funds), banking and insurance/reinsurance sectors.
A sound knowledge of and strong interest in the Luxembourg regulatory landscape (e.g. UCITS, AIFMD, Basel, Solvency, FATCA/CRS, MIFID, ICAAP, EMIR, PRIIPS, IDD, etc…).
Knowledge of key internal controls frameworks and you are familiar with International Auditing Standard and/or the International Professional Practices Framework (and other frameworks such as COSO, CoCo, COBIT, ISO, ISAE, etc…)
Professional Certifications such as CIA or others, which will be considered as an asset.
An IT background, which is desirable but not required.
