Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team works with clients to manage their capital agenda to drive competitive advantage and increased returns. What we are looking for:
As an Assistant within the Transaction Support team, you will assist in advisory projects related to transaction advisory support, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and project finance. You will analyse the financial and operational results of companies undergoing significant business transactions by reviewing financial statements, accounting and management reports, forecasts and projections. You will also research and prepare financial data reports for due diligence projects, sales processes and transactions of target projects.
Prepare analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow requirements and deal valuation;
Perform industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information;
Use data analytics and prepare reports under supervision of other more senior team members;
Assist in researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring;
Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Have a degree in accountancy or business, or be in the final stages of reading for an industry qualification such as the ACCA;
Good written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent numeracy, analytical and interpersonal abilities;
Be able and willing to learn and develop your career;
Ability to work well within a team;
Be flexible, willing and able to travel.
