EY’s Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) team provides a range of integrated services to assist clients to comply with reporting and regulatory obligations while allowing them to focus on their core business activities. Our services include bookkeeping, financial statements preparation, payroll, and administrative support.

The opportunity

As a member of the ACR team you will be offering professional services to local and global clients of the firm. You will work in an integrated manner and collaborate with other EY business units to offer to clients complete service solutions. Your key responsibilities

Everything you’ll do will come back to providing exceptional service to our clients. The activities that you will carry out include:

  • Posting transactions in accounting software and maintaining accounting records based on information provided by the client

  • Preparing management accounts, budgets and other financial reports required by clients.

  • Preparing IFRS compliant financial statements

  • Assisting the entity’s Directors and Secretary or other officers in ensuring that the company is compliant with the local requirements, including drafting Directors and Shareholders resolutions, Power of Attorneys and processing corporate changes at the Registrar of Companies

  • Assisting with daily administrative tasks including processing incoming correspondence, legalisation of documents, typing documents requested on Company’s letterhead, issuance of invoices and executing other ad-hoc requests

  • General administration of bank accounts such as creation of payment orders, maintaining of bank balances and overall supervision of bank accounts

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree, ACCA or ACA

  • Good written, IT and verbal communication skills

  • Prior experience in accounting would be considered an advantage

  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally in a fast paced environment

  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills

  • Keen attention to high quality, details and accuracy
