Roles and responsibilities:
Individual should be able to review the existing contracting strategy developed by preceding senior managers, and customize it according to the current and future needs of SANAD to ensure that all types of contracts are incorporated (including PO and non-PO) and categorize them by nature of work and type (such as for example, catering, logistic, transportation, etc.).
Develop a database which stores all the contracts, and develop a tendering strategy for services to be reviewed and approved by the PRC based on the candidate’s expertise and prevailing market conditions (should be able to take advantage of the current economic scenario).
Ensure that the procurement and purchasing departments have the most appropriate policies implemented and review them accordingly.
Provide insights during the Stages II and III of the IT project, and provide solutions to automate processes and optimize costs.
Resolve issues related to procurement including missing MSAs, and supervise the execution of the contracting strategy. Ensure proper governance for procurement and purchasing, and improve transparency.
Based on the volume of the contracts, no. of PR/POs, assess the staffing level requirements of the Purchasing function.
Update the VP Admin of any employees’ competency gaps with suggested closures for those gaps.
