Job Description: Source to Pay Deployment Manager - APAC

Reports to: Source to Pay Transformation Leader

Level: Assistant Director/Associate Director

Background

  • TheSource to Pay (S2P) team is a key part of Procurement Enablement’s serviceportfolio and strategy. The S2P team purpose is to enable CBS functions,Service Lines, Accounts Payable and Procurement to deliver a standardized andleverageable end-to-end support model for all S2P activities from inception,through deployment and into BAU operational management. The S2P team is splitinto S2P Transformation (leading the S2P deployments) and S2P Operations(managing business as usual)

JobPurpose

  • TheS2P deployment manager APAC will be responsible for the SAP SRM deployment inthe APAC region as per Program Mercury deployment plan. As a S2P SRM RegionalDeployment Manager you will work at the intersection of the Mercury DeploymentTeam, Global Procurement function, and the Regional APAC stakeholders to helplead the successful deployment of SAP SRM tools and processes. You will be dealing with senior stakeholders (Businessand Finance) and advising them on how best to implement the SAP SRM systemsutilising your credibility and experience to do so.

Deliverables

  • TheS2P deployment manager APAC will follow the S2P deployment playbook and work inaccordance with the Program Mercury implementation phases (Initiate, Adapt,Integrate, Implement) and timelines to:

  • Identify stakeholdersimpacted by each deployment and act as Procurement Subject Matter Representativeto influence business change and ensure a smooth transition to Mercury

  • Participate in MercuryProcess Alignment Workshops, Deep Dives and any other ongoing Program Mercurymeetings related to S2P, act as a Procurement S2P SMR in support of the countrydeployment

  • Define Purchase Ordersroll-out strategy: analyse spend andprofile suppliers to facilitate PO scope alignment considering any current POtools and processes (Categories planning, buying channels proposed andrequirements readiness)

  • Assist and influence thebusiness with defining S2P Requesting strategy

  • Ensure user andstakeholder readiness with effective communication and training

  • Work in collaborationwith S2P Operations to prepare SRM for deployment: publish contracts from CLM,identify and create catalogs, enable suppliers in Ariba Network (AN), review POT&Cs, submit all applicable region Procurement local configurationtemplates per Program Mercury timelines.

  • Validate systemreadiness by participating in Mercury testing

  • Provide hands onsupport during cutover, go-live, and hypercare

  • Ensure Hypercare exitcriteria are met and transition to S2P Operations as BAU Core Competencies andRequired Education/ Experience

  • Bachelor’s degreerequired, advanced degree preferred

  • Extensive knowledge ofworking with and deployment of SAP SRM or Ariba software within a procurementfunction ideally on a cross country or global scale

  • Proven experiencerequired as business change lead in Source to Pay Procurement toolimplementations in complex organizations

  • Strong ProjectManagement skills

  • Strong influencing andrelationship management skills

  • Strong verbal andwritten communication skills with good interpersonal skills – able to handleconflict situations and resolve issues satisfactorily

  • Excellent organization,analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work underpressure and deliver to tight deadlines

  • Ability to multitaskand deliver multiple deliverables at once

  • Ability to question howthings are done or voice a differing opinion

  • Positive, can-doattitude and good business acumen

  • Culturally sensitive,capable of handling interactions with a “global mind set”
